My uncle got lost in the 6-day war in the golan heights. He was a part of the military and my family thought he got killed. Only til 30 years later we saw a discovery documentary about the war, and We actually saw him in picture getting captured by the israeli. Sad part is, we’ve never got in touch with him and vice versa. Every time the golan heights is mentioned, i get chills up my spine. EDIT: Hey guys, so in addition to my comment…Basically what we think is he got captured by Israel and brainwashed. Cause there is no chance in world he wouldn’t reach out to us if he had the oportunity. The problem is also if this happened, Israel is not a country you can just bolster in to and claim someone is an uncle of yours that has been in another identity for so long. We tried and had a project going for some years 2 years but laid it down because it was too dangerous to keep it going..not only for us but him aswell.

The difference is that there is a large Russian majority in those former Ukrainian provinces, all of them voted for autonomy from Kiev, and were recognised by NATO in the Minsk Agreement in 2014. A better case is NATO bombing Orthodox Serbia into submission to yield its historic territory of Kosovo to migrant Albanian Muslims. (Possibly a Pentagon bribe to Albania to put bases there and use their men in their mercenary / ‘insurgent’ armies ?)
