0:07. Minor correction. Ukraine declared independence in 1919. They were forcibly annexed. 1991 is when they finally were freed. In 2014 and 2023 Russia, the successor state to the Soviet Union, came back to annex them again

Ukraine was one of the founding countries of the USSR. 4 out of 8 general secretaries of the USSR were Ukrainians. If you think that Ukraine gained independence in 1919 and the USSR annexed it, I suggest you return all territories that do not belong to the UNR. How much it? 80% of all territories of present-day Ukraine? It suits me just fine.

And Kennedy parlayed his WWII adventures into a presidency and for his brief time in office did OK (Cuban missile crisis handled well; Bay of Pigs not so well). Harrison and Zach Taylor didn't last that long but were military men. T.R. Roosevelt rode his Rough Riders into the presidency and was OK given he could have been worse (Hawaii and Puerto Rico were success stories for US imperialism), and he arguably helped consumers with his trust busting.
