@@user-cw2qc1hl4f Contrary to popular belief, the original text was in French. It's considered British because it was where it was first adopted as an anthem and where the melody was composed.

First ever recorded version of what's known to be the anthem of the soviet union was first recorded in 1944, considered the stalinist Version of the state anthem of the soviet union, later changed.
Music-wise, i think the USSR/Russian anthem is the best, the melody is simpleyet catchy, able to capture the spirit of the people

The video is good. I noticed for myself, for example, a unique performance of the "Russian Prayer". But in the last block with patriotic songs "Hymn of Free Russia" is clearly superfluous, especially in combination with these "anti-military" cattle without tribe and ancestry (they are the same militarists, just advocating the victory of Ukraine). And instead of "Serve Russia" I would have inserted "Holy War", a much better known patriotic so

During WWII, Katyn is the place where the Soviets massacred and execute Polish military officers, Intelligentsia(s), and POWs (via Kharkiv, and Kalinin prisions) And their deaths are estimated to 22,000. And their mass graves where later discovered and exhumed by the Germans themselves when they’re advancing to Soviet Union

Good! But remarks: 1. "Patrioticheskaya pesnya" ("Patriotic song") was the anthem of the Russian Federation until 2000, not 1993. 2. The version of "Slav'sya" that you have used is original, but soviet version of this song also exists. It is also very patriotic and powerful. 3. The illustrations to "Farewell of Slavianka" that you used are so-so. The first picture shows the episode of the October revolution when russian revolutionary soldiers robbed alcohol shops in Petrograd (Saint-Petersburg today). (This picture was draw by artist who was the enemy of bolsheviks and he wanted to show people who like the October revolution as criminals, betrayers). This song tells us about brave soldiers, but this picture shows soldiers like a robbers. Finally, the second picture shows german soldiers, not russian. However, I like it. I am sorry for my so-so English.

It's not what it is shown, it a little bit subtile but, the date only say the status of Russia, Russia is a Federation since 1991 so it's not the date since the anthem is used
