He also won't last that long at all, when was the last Scrambling QB who had a long HoF career? Even if he did, if he stays consistent for THAT long, he'll have about 50k passing yards and only about 400 TDs. No where near GOAT material, not even within 20k yard or 100 TDs of Peyton, the real GOAT. Russell isn't shit without Seattles defense and it shows. His receivers make spectacular plays to bail him out. Sure he might be Top 15 right now but he doesn't even crack the Top 50 of all time. He's played 4 years and you're calling him the greatest of all time, that's pure stupidity.

Wow! Russell is really good. My son chose #3 for his youth football jersey and I didn't understand why but now I do. He told me a few NFL players who are #3 and Russell Wilson is one of them. Russell have a lot of heart and people doubted him as they did my son. Im proud of my baby!

I still don't blame him for it. I put it more on the receiver. Lockette didn't go hard to that ball. Didn't reach out for it. Let it come to him. That's one of the first few things I was taught when I played in high school. Catch with your hands, not your body. Reach out and get that thing.

What's funny is that ball bounced off of Kearse's hands and should have been a relatively easy catch. It wasn't supposed to be spectacular. Kearse had already had some huge drops in that game, and it was lucky that that play was not one.

It's interesting how the irrational focus on height, size, and other numbers/measurables has blinded so many scouts throughout history. The only thing that matters is how the player performs under huge amounts of pressure. That's really it. If the player is consistently able to perform on a high level, despite his numbers and/or measurables, then why even write stuff like "He lacks height" as a point of worry on the report? If he has consistently showed (in High School and in College) that he can perform on top, when there's pressure involved, that's all that matters.

Two things I love the most when watching Russ play the game. First, he’s insanely resilient. An active leader in consecutive starts, he has taken some crazy hits (look for Clay Matthews dirty hit on Russ), and just shakes it off. The second thing is his deep ball. It feels like his throws bounce off the moon, and then lands right into a WR’s basket-catch in full stride. Joe Vincent we need a Russ update video!!
