They’re only impressed by the word, or maybe one of them knows that passion fruit are usually really weird to deal with (lot of seeds and flavor, not much flesh to eat) and was marveling at the idea of actually using one for something good.

Mate this is apprenticeship level stuff. Always drink a pint of water when you've had a skinful. If you know you're going to be drinking a lot and don't want to disappoint, drink a glass of water every half hour/hour for as long as you can prior to the session and you literally won't be able to get drunk without resorting to spirits.

Actually no, just water won’t do much, if anything you will just flush away more electrolytes which is what causes hangovers anyway. You need a berocca, proper sodium and potassium salts and some protein before bed, who’s gonna remember to do that though lol

So for sake of arguement an average bottle is between 70cl-1litre of volume at roughly 40%/80proof. Your average jug or pitcher is like 2.5/ 3 litres... If you fill that with ice, let it melt and add water again, and then drink served over ice your drink is over nearly 65%+ water... Which from my horrible maths makes tequila at 40% strength, watered down to the strength of wine, +the hydration powers of water. TL;DR: they basically only consumed 2 bottles of wine (units of alcohol (max) between them (assuming a 3L Jug.)

“Patron” and “nice liquor” shouldn’t be uttered in the same sentence. Patron is crap tequila that tastes like nothing. You’re paying a high price for zero agave flavor. That’s like buying BMW with a Honda Civic engine.

He's forgetting the potassium from the passion fruit, also helps with hangover, and recovers electrolytes (allowing the water to remain inside the body.)

In Japan we already have a drink called Shochu mizu wari. It means Sochu (the alcohol name) with water and ice. You get your kick and you dont get a hangover the next day. It's truly fantastic. Smart drinkers always drink this. Plus its smooth and tastes great. Zero sugar and extremely low calories as well. Next time you are in Japan please try it. You won't regret it.

Not really, and beer is not tequila. You can drink water in between shots, but drinking from the alcohol already diluted with the ice the water and the passion fruit, makes you assimilate the alcohol better, les stronger to the body and to the hang over

My advice? Drink 300-400ml of water for every drink that you have. It spaces out 30-40 minutes between each drink so your liver can actually have a chance. Otherwise, don't drink.
