A brilliant, wonderful actor, who brings such reality to his characters. There are a handful of actors comparable. I would like to see Russell loose weight - will be a good thing for fans as well as his health. Fans like me remember and see you as you were in Gladiator - the early years of movies that made you an international star.

When I first saw him in LA Confidential he was fairly unknown in the USA. I thought, Wow, this guy is a great actor…. Next I saw him in Gladiator… & that was it…my favorite movie of all still after all these years. He does not look healthy now, maybe he is going through something, but Russell Crow can do anything he puts his mind to. I wish him well. He is still is and always will be one of my favorite actors

He's a good actor, you can't take that away from him. Other than that I think he's a pretty worthless human being - arrogant, self-centered and aggressive. He looks a lot like John Goodman since he put on the weight. I've seen a picture of him shirtless in front of his house with that belly hanging out and you can tell by his expression he still thinks he's "all that" - he's not!
