The NRL just played their opening 2 game's in Las Vagas a couple of months ago at Raiders Allgiant stadium drawing a attendance of 41000. It was a massive hit & a lot of American sporting reactor channels have fallen in love with the game & have been constantly following it from then on. Multiple reactors have been dropping NRL videos daily & following it round by round by highlights or even game live streams. Needless to say these channels have developed a massive following from loyal NRL fan's around the world.

These are just the basic rules of the Rugby League and there are many more rules that are abit more complicated. Obstruction, escort, line drop out, scrum, etc. These basic rules should be able to let any new fans enjoy watching the game and learn the rest of the rules while watching the game itself. Every week I try to watch all the matches, gotta have everything ready before it starts. Once the game is on, there is not many ads/breaks..10 minutes break at halftime to use the toilet and back on the seat watching the rest of the match. It's awesome 👌

Yeah, there aren't many ads. After a try they might throw in a 30 second ad. Half time is where they load up on ads, but the game itself is largely uninterrupted.

It's a shame that Rugby Union and Rugby League, which are so different, are both called Rugby, it creates confusion, I myself thought there was only one kind of rugby.

Oh man it causes so much confusion. I also realised to Americans, "league" just makes it sound like a "league" filled with union teams all playing union. You'll say "nah this is rugby league, it's different" and they'll be like "oh it's a different league?" lol

They squeeze in 1 or 2 short commercials where they can between penalties, tries, and whatnot.

You should watch the NRL in Las Vegas next year in March again. They might be four or six teams including the women's rugby league team's coming to you guy's in L.A. So you might be lucky and have a fair idea about and impacts of it. It's just of the air. Take your family as well and go watch it's awesome 👍💪💪💯

Just to let you know that the nrl signed a deal with the las Vegas gaming commission to bring the nrl to Vegas at the start of the nrl season on a six year deal this year was the first year.Ps forgot to mention they have 2 games each year of round 1 of the nrl in las Vegas

Near to no ads my brother! Only a 10-15min break between halves then back into another 40mins of footy! odd 30s ad if there is an injury - but that depends on what you're watching the game on. I stream it, so no ads until the half time break. But there are 2 (main) versions of rugby, which we call "Codes" Rugby League - more fast pace, 6 tackles before turn over, more similar to NFL and entertaining to a new viewer. Rugby Union - which is more globally played, no limit to "downs" - if a team could keep possession of the ball the whole game, they would. But the grit of the game is involved here, constant griding for possession AND territory. Can't tackle above the shoulders, so in that last video (til I collapse) has alot of tackles illegal then and tackles that would be deemed illegal today. Today, tacklers are expected to "wrap" when tackling to prevent "Shoulder" tackles which are devasting! lol - your commentary on the scenario if a friend asks you if you wanna watch some footy, was pretty spot on ! It's complicated that there are several kinds of rugby. They are different, when you don't know them you get lost. It's not the same for soccer, rules are universal.

No adverts. We watch 40 minutes have ten minutes of adverts then back to the rugby. I went to a basketball match in London between two American teams the whole night and was like 4 hours of hell. Never again

there are 2 types of rugby, one is played with 15 players and the one you show is played with 13, they are two different sports

What about scrums, we don't see here, is it another kind of rubgy or what ?

As the video mentioned, this is Rugby league, not union. There are scrums in league, but not contested like they are I union.

You're first mistake was to call it 'Rugby'. That's a different game. This is Rugby League or as we call it here in Australia, NRL or just 'League'. The actual sport is Rugby League and is a different sport to 'Rugby' aka Rugby Union.

Rugby (Union >which is what you are calling it) IS NOT like NFL. This is Rugby LEAGUE or NRL and is more like your NFL.
