(There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God) لا إله إلا الله، محمد رسول الله means that none is worshiped except God, and none is worshiped except by what He wanted, legislated, and approved of means, methods, and steps. (O you who have believed, fear God and seek the means to Him....) Surah Al-Ma’idah, verse 35

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him between this Friday and the next.” (Al-Sunan al-Kubraa lil-Bayhaqi) Abu Mas’ud al-Ansari reported: The Prophet, ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Increase your supplications for blessings upon me on Friday, for no one blesses me on Friday but that his supplication is presented to me.” (Shu’ab al-Imaan) Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Friday is made of twelve hours. No Muslim finds himself supplicating to Allah Almighty during one of them but that Allah will give it to him. Thus, seek it out in the last hour after the afternoon prayer.” (Sunan Abu Dawuud)

When Allah knows the negative is happening, why is he not doing anything about it? Is it still worth praying to him even if he is not taking any actions? How will Allah feel when I don't pray to him when he as my lord is doing no return to me? How do we know Allah is the best planner when all he is doing is delaying? Delaying for what exact reason?

My brother, seek refuge in allah from all negativity that we Muslims may be thinking and feeling. We are weak and our understanding is very limited. Allah swt knows and sees everything. The positive and negative. As for those who experience the negativity please understand it is a test and trial for that believer AND the unbeliever. For the believer, Will you still be grateful? Will you still continue worshipping even through the bad? Will you still hold on to the ropes of Allah? Will you be patient? Could take seconds or years, will you still hold on? If the answer is yes, be prepared to go through it because allah SWT promises us that if we do, allah SWT will allow us to be the people of jannah. He is elevating us the more we continue struggling in his way. Ultimately, the success is for the believer. After all, allah is with the patient. ALWAYS. As for the unbeliever, will they continue in their ways? Will they stop their corruption? Will they turn back to allah swt and repent? Will they change their ways for the good? The choice is theirs. Allah swt is showing mercy by giving them chances again and again however if they failed to do so, allah SWT promises us that he will only delay them until the promised day so they can collect all their sins so that allah will punish them. Understand, Allah swt doesn’t need us and our worship, it is WE who need allah SWT and our worship. Who will protect us from the punishment of hell and torment of the grave? I will be allah SWT. It will be due to our prayers, zakat, patience, good deeds, fasting and doing what pleases allah swt. In return all our worshipping is a gift for us because allah swt is giving us a way out and saving us from the wrath of allah when the day comes without a doubt. Please brother, I promise you allah SWT has bestowed soooo many blessings upon us that we are blind to see it. He may not answer your dua directly but he is certainly answering the dua’s you are in need of but not making. One way or another, he will answer your dua’s or he will delay it for the time that it is best for the person or if he doesn’t, rest assured he will replace it with something so much better. All we have to do is trust in him even for the things we have 0 understanding of. Example of why he delays: say you want to get married but there are blockages, you try everything but nothing works out. Why? Allah swt could be saving you and the other person from future pain and disappointment and maybe even divorce ? Imagine having kids and going through so much marital problems you end up divorcing? He will know you will cry out to him and express “why Allah SWT has this happened to me?” Instead he wants to save you and the other person, the kids and everyone involved from this painful test so he tests you with this very reason and he would rather break your heart now knowing you will heal faster and will be fully prepared for the person you are meant to be with ultimately. Living that “happily ever after” you have always dreamed of. My brother in Islam, nothing befalls a Muslim except that it is only for his own good. I pray swt ease your affairs and fulfils your sincere dua’s.. I pray that he blesses you and increase you in imaan and goodness. May we meet in Jannah al firdaus with the entire Ummah. Peace and blessings be upon muhammad SWT. La ilaha illah allah wa ashhadu ana muhammadan abduhu wa rasulu. And allah swt knows best. Barakallah feekum.

If that negativity causes you to be patient and say Alhamdulillah... It is no longer negative... In fact it is the biggest blessing that happened to you. Your reward for bearing that patience is with Him, The Almighty & Majestic. Also the fact that you can type and even have a thought process, and He enabled your fingers to move... Well if you think about it... Even if you were to pray from now till forever... You won't be able to even begin to thank Him for even one blessing that He (The Beneficent) has bestowed upon you. Our prayers whether they be answered or not... Well He is The Most Worthy... In fact He is all that Matters because We are nothing without Him and We should thank Him every single time by praying and worshipping Him... this is why we were sent here after all. Also know that all your duas are heard by the One who listens from the Seven Heavens... And He will never let you down... Always think Well of Him my brother.

Shaddad ibn Aws narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said; "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is to say the following dua. If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; And if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُك وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana ‘ala ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu, A’udhu bika min Sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u Laka bini’matika ‘alaiya, wa Abu’u Laka bidhanbi faghfirli fainnahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, And I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, And I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You. (Sahih Al-Bukhari )
