Rush hour and THUNDERSTORM - Zurich Airport Plane Spotting

There are days where everything works out as planned, and there are days where unexpected things happen. This noon was one of the latter one. It first started with an obstacle, and ended with some weather issues. Nevertheless I somehow managed to make the best out of it and so I can present you a quite decent compilation of an eventful spotting session including quite nice traffic. Enjoy!

I originally wanted to publish this video earlier, but had some issues with the HD processing of YT. However, here we go, I hope you enjoy it!
I love how Embraer incorporated the raked wing tips on the new E Series like the Dreamliner and got rid of the winglets/fins.
Hahahahaha, the beginning was hilarious, especially the yelling GIF……at least you got to see your Swiss Heavy……..lol. Cheers from West Virginia USA.

Really nice video from an airport that I visited briefly 20 years ago. I'll never forget my flight from Zurich to Amsterdam in the Jumbolino, the Swiss Avro RJ100.

Yes, I was lucky that they did a flight on that day, this route isn't operated very often.

Swiss A220 flies into London City Airport, its cool to watch, if you like that, London City has strict restrictions to get certified to fly in there, check out SDTV/Speedbird he does live from Heathrow and London City Fridays, and also, if you haven’t, follow Airliners Liver from Vancouver and from Manchester, all live streams.

I love the CS100 and 300/ A220 now and the gorgeous 195E2 from Embraer, and all the new NEOS you have, not to mention Edelweiss and the 340s. 777s Swiss Air has, you have a great lineup of airplanes, are they getting any 350s or 777x or 787s. Great Condo on that Swisss Trip 7.

Thank you for watching! There's no confirmation yet on what Swiss will get for the remaining A340s. The A330s will receive new seats as i learned this week, so it seems like they will be around for some more time. Rumors have been around for B789 or A359. 777X certainly not.

Not entirely sure about the type of the helicopter, but yes, it's used as a cafe and snack restaurant now.
