I understand all that propaganda and other staf, but even there has to be a line nobody crosses. I barely understand why they did that episode with Big Show and russian flag, but humiliating anthem is unforgivable. Correct me if i am wrong please, but i don`t remember when the russians did something like that with american symbols.

@@thorthegodofthunder9150 Lana(real name Catherine Perry) is actually from Gainesville Florida. Her father was a Christian missionary in Latvia. She stayed there was actually a member of the Latvia Ballet so she probably knows more Russian then we think she does.

Rusev always had a tattoo of Bulgaria on his arm, "Rusev udria, Rusev machka" from his theme song entrance is in Bulgarian.. and they should have just booked him as a Bulgarian since day one. Seeing the Russian flag on Rusev just doesn't feel right. Epic entrance nevertheless!

@@xerxesix1451 because the Soviet Union no longer exists he would be representing a union of nations that no longer works by Lenin's way, or communism. He is representing the modern Russia Post Soviet Russia known as the Russian Federation that's why the new anthem at the beginning says ROSSIYA!(Russia) instead of SOYUZ!(Union) the lyrics were changed so they no longer mentioned Lenin or reference communism.

@@starseeker5231 This is a little bit more complicated. The music is the same like in comunism (in WWE history - like Nikolai Volkoff sang it). After the end of the Soviet Union, they choose only to use an instrumental version without any lyrics. But many people - and especially athletes - wanted lyrics to sing along, so they had a competition and at the end of 2000 new lyrics, without Sowjet-references. (And hell, I am not even a Russian...)

However, she grew up in Latvia (part of the former Soviet Union) for 13 years, which is why she speaks fluent Russia. It's just an accent that she puts on, though. Look up any non-WWE interview with her and you'll see her normal speaking voice is very American sounding.
