In recent years, Slovenia beats us constantly, we only beat them once in the last 5 games - during the olympic qualification, when we already guaranteed ourselves a 1st place in the tournament. Whenever we face Slovenia and it matters, we lose to them :)

The scary thing is that Poland is not even at their best yet, they have huge reserves but they are still almost unreachable.

Klos will not go, Bednorz although I believe in him, will not go, Fornal will not go, Wojtaszek and Komenda will not go. Semeniuk deserves but needs a bit better reception. Kurek is going with surety and covfefe and I will cry when one of the pair Muzaj Kaczmarek will have to stay home.

actually Poland has two teams, team A and team B they can play at the same level. Heynen left Chicago tournament and team B won with Brazil without choking - 3rd place.

@@runnermcturtle5893 i think that roster for OG will be Zatorski,Kubiak,Leon, Semeniuk,Śliwka,Kochanowski,Bieniek,Nowakowski,Drzyzga,Łomacz,Kurek, and Muzaj or Kaczmarek :) Its verry painfull when players like a Muzaj or Kaczmarek, Bednorz, Kłos,Wojtaszek,Huber will stay in Poland :(

The improvement Kubiak made had me drop my jaw. He was awful in first set, but world class ever since.

Kubiak is slowly returning to form. Currently, with Kurek, they are the kings in the gym, they shift a lot of weights. Everything to be in shape at the Olympics

Leon's aces are amazing, but actually it was Karol Kłos who served the most (20 times) so his floats earned Poland the most points. Next come Bieniek and Leon with 18 serves each.

All the cubans playing in different teams are excellent players,just look at Juantorena playing with italy,or Leal playing with Brasil,without forgeting Simon,Escobar playing in Brasil and The Flying Manuel Lopez playing also in Brasil ..( there are like 12 cubans born players playing outside of Cuba,with the same fondamentals and exquisite offensive minded personality as Leon)but not all of them are yet known by the public.

But as the volleyball shows more than once, it is never light and easy. The won set of 25 to 14, maybe it looks effective and presents itself nicely in the headlines of news on internet portals. But the effort behind it is beyond measure

And still Poland is like "this isn't even my final form" xD

What a match!!! Poland's net and floor defense were absolutely good that these Russian spikers had a hard time to score off points. Got me even more excited for the Tokyo Olympics next month!

What a level of play. My god there are almost no mistakes from both sides. By the way Leon is by far best volleyball player.

The irony is that Muzaj was terminated from mediocre Russian league team because he was not good enough. Here he plays against best Russian players and Poland is winning easily.

Polish team could be some kind of dream team, I mean volley is still huge, the thing is they do not get enough credit in the country. People are more focused on football. but honestly volley should be our national sport number one then speedway skijupmping athletics. the game was great to watch really both teams

What a spectacular performance that was! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Team Poland.

If you love volleyball this was the game to watch. I still think that you watched the top 2 team in the World at present time. I hope to see ramach at VNL final and maybe in Tokyo. I am Polish and you might not agree with me but the reason why this team is so good is a depth. 12-14 players on the same level that are ready to play any given day.
