Rural King is where we bought our chickens. Where we live there is a rural King in about every decent sized town. It is probably where we shop the most, except walmart. I highly recommend it.

Wow. They really had everything at that store. The steel buckets, metal egg baskets, cast iron,bulk black oil sun flower seeds and on and on!!!! Our tractor supply almost never has what I am looking for. They didn't even carry hay bags and definitely not the metal egg baskets. Great birthday present to yourself! That's my kind of present. Free popcorn and the 10% off days are usually pretty busy. We've had good fortune with their baby chicks.

Happy Birthday! Every once in awhile my local TSC will have 'mystery' chicks at a bargain price. Sometimes in shipping some get loose and they don't know what they are and can't sell them at full price. The fun part is people stand around guessing what they are... but no one every finds out unless they take them home!

wykkydtruth the rural king and tractor supply near me are pretty close to each other. I usually get my chicks from Tractor and supply though.

I wish we had a Rural King where I live, I've never heard of it. I only have Tractor Supply, but I'm lucky enough it's actually in walking distance!

Its my fave...everytime we go we see something new we didn't know they had. Love them BJG...my best rooster ever Brutus was a BJG. He was huge and not a mean bone in him!

You guys have boots with rounded toes! That may not seem significant to you, but my husband has worn boots for many years, lol. They are really hard to find up here in the north. Boots in general are hard to find, and they all are really decorated and have pointed toes. My husband just wants a plain, tall boot. We find them, but it's hard. We don't have any animals and very little garden, but he just likes boots.
