The IoTAC Runtime Monitoring System (RMS) monitors IoT-driven systems (components, applications) by implementing collection and efficient management of live security-related data in order to further feed advanced threat detection modules. Monitored data as well as IoT system assets and attributes are represented, thus becoming easily discoverable and retrievable, in accordance with properly defined data models capitalizing on existing relevant metadata standards and taxonomies. During IoT system data collection, RMS filters incoming data to detect patterns of abnormal behavior and issue relevant warnings and alerts. RMS further provides customized information visualization dashboards and threat reporting capabilities.
