Over 3% of the population in Egham do not have a Masjid. The nearest Masjid is a 30min drive.
Runnymede Muslim Society is a registered charity, who serve meals to foreign students from Royal Holloway University, assist with interfaith discussions, school visits, help with aid for homeless/emergencies, run martial arts club, a madrasah and cater for the community in Egham and Runnymede.
They have been doing all of the above for over 25 years without having their own building, but by sharing facilities, including a church for 11 years at The Jurgens Centre.
They have found a building, answered over 365 complaints and Alhamdulillah obtained planning permission. They just need your help to raise the necessary amount to buy the building.
Without a local Masjid it will be difficult:
For local youth to learn about Islam
Tackle Islamophobia
Bridge the local communities
To have a place for prayers
The building will be used for our local prayers, as a Community Centre for bridging communities, run a local madrasah, a local martial arts club, computer science lessons aimed at GCSE and A Level and much more.

In a country hurting so much by political bungling, the cost of living beyond reach there is a huge and I do mean HUGE opportunities to silence critics and demonstrate Islam as a religion of peace. We seem to have lost community as it was just afterr ww2, demonstrate the blessings to others.

The Community was not lost after the War. In the 1940S some idiot Politician allowed Immigration ,which was gradual in the beginning. Now up to date. Millions let in by any means possible. I do state that any disagreement was ignored. So what is Islam to do with our countries history. Nothing! Treacherous Politicians have let you in, in just a few Decades. - The situation is the same in Western Europe. I'm English but also some French. The French Riot ,as they have had enough. Islam is used as a Political Agenda. Liberals & Globalists use you to weaken our European Lifestyle.
