Poor Somin, i never saw her this stressed, maybe since the era of Family Packages and the harsh punishments, that she usually with the unlucky gangs keeps on receiving. @@no40 the agency they were under owed them and a whole bunch of staffs unpaid wages. When they both realised what was happening,they stepped up and offered help to some of the staffs they were working with because some of them were struggling without the money. Jihyo even paid for expenses and hospital bills herself. While sukjin also paid the staffs out of his own pocket. They did what they could to help these employees even tho the company owed them tons of money too. The news recently got exposed coz Jihyo spoke up about it and took legal actions. And becoz of her,the wages were finally mostly repaid back.

this episode was fun but also sad. to think that she got hated on a lot at instagram just for getting this "somin special", only for her to be treated this way. she worked the hardest and even when she's hurt (during table tennis game), she still continued to play. but the teasing is sometimes a bit too much. somin is a sensitive and emotional person and you can tell she was upset at some point but tried to hide it. i mean, i would be too if everyone implies that they don't like spending time with me right in my face (i know it's because they don't want to extend the shoot). also, before anyone starts saying anything, i don't blame or hate anyone - not kanghoon, the members, nor the production. i know this is a variety show and that the members care a lot for somin despite their teasing. i also know that somin can ride on the members' teasing but anyone can clearly tell she was slightly hurt, so please to stop invalidating the fans' feelings.

That's why I didn't find that head/table tennis game funny at all. Because Somin's head was literally hurt by that ball and even her nose got hit by that ball.🥲 But she keeps on doing it as it is what the pd/staff wants to justify the game and make a worthy airtime without checking somin's nose if it's fine. 🥲🥲

At first I didn't put high expectation on this episode but it literally exploded when I watched the table tennis game. Somin kept hitting her head on the ball and other members encouraged and behaved like her older brothers. Jihyo wrote Kang Hoon name and wrote good meal for Somin, very touching.This episode should have name : "Teasing Somin Race" lol. From the beginning the reward was just a punishment, everyone avoided it, pretended to write down their name but then write other's name. Every member was very relaxed and enjoyed teasing Somin. The content was good but sometimes I felt bad for Somin, her head must have hurt after the table tennis game. Then the ripping nametag, she kept walking around and insist her team member to rip Kang Hoon nametag but no one listened to her and ripped Seho and Sukjin's instead. But I think Somin didn't mind, she would have ok with anyone.

Kang hoon really enjoying ripping name tag with ease since nobody want to rip his name except for seeho 😂 Kanghoon one of the guest who Jongkook didn't chase in RM history lucky him 😂😂

When you think about it, or just re-watch the 2 episodes, you can see it was actually KH special and Somin was just used to hide it lol They literally chose games he mentioned he good at during his previous appearance (like he said he was good at soccer and basketball) so they wanted him to look good, and also nametag ripping, because he specifically said he wanted to play it. Even the question during the opening are question that when answered he look cool and not questions that when answered they can generate laughs (which normally what should have been done for variety shows purposes). Somin was just the smokescreen used to hide the true intentions of this episode. He enjoyed it max, she was left with nothing but an extra shooting, a nose and head hurt from a game she verbally said she didn't ask for, and extra stress from having to play a character to give reason as to why these 2 were invited. He is not even in her top 10 guests lol I'm not hating on anyone here, they all playing their parts. It just some delusional haters using delusional arguments to say she is hated and no one wanna spend time with her.

Seho is kind of gentleman when Haha left him wih Somin.. he maybe thought that Somin gonna feel awkward if only two of them eating and said Somin can left first if she is busy and he can finish the food alone. i'm glad somin choose to continue to eat with him.. p/s - Seho oppa, u dont remember that u have a meal with Somin in Sixth Sense before? you even try to wipe her mouth with napkin... hahaha

The tears just kept flowing, I was in tears for quite some time. It was obvious that Somin unnie was trying to conceal her emotions. Although some notes and actions may seem small, they scratch your heart. You can see Somin crying as Haha ripped off her tag. She was holding herself. They may seem insignificant, but they can be very painful. While I realize this is an entertaining show and one cannot force anyone to like something, it hurts when someone you like rejects you. The fact that Kang Hoonie did not want to eat with Somin hurt me like it was me instead of Somin. Even though she tried to smile through it, I know it hurt her too. Wish I were there so I could tell her I would spend all day with you and eat 10 meals together. I felt very bad for her. Please invite Ha Soekjin, mijoo, Jessi, and nara unnie. It's a variety show, that's what they do. Dont feel bad because most of these are jokes, lmao. A major part of this is scripted and they already knew what would be the "theme" or the "mood". Somin and Sechan have been on the show for so many years now, they know how to act according to whats happening. Somin acted sad because that's how the scenario played. Take note they are variety experts already. This episode is for teasing Somin, who responds well to the teases. Dont be sensitive pls. Without knowing, you might contribute to the hate she always receive because you protect Somin so much to the point that you bash other members / guests. Dont overthink whats happening in VARIETY shows.

Comment like this that always caused misunderstand, so min have been in running man for almost 8 years now and this is not her first special epsiode, yes she may feel frustated in this episode and neglected. But remember this is variety show bro you cant expect anything just went smoothly otherwise the episode would be boring, so min had it worst when kwang soo still around but see there's never been an issue about it, and for kang hoon he's an expert variety like the other, he know that if he let so min win and have meal with her the outcome of this episode would be not that great thats why he try to sabotage her but hey it ended funny. Dont try to asumme because of what you just see, remember after shooting they became themself irl if you still thought that somin still mad/sad/frustated then theres something wrong with you ❤

It's cute and adorable when everyone joined force with each other in order to teased So Min Nuna but her reaction make them cute and adorable due to her reaction especially when Jong Kook Hyung playfully want to rip Kang Hoon nametag at 1:03 - 1:33. I know what Haha Hyung actual feeling when he need to do an Additional Shoot with So Min Nuna and Sae Ho Hyung (And that So Min Nuna need to go to eat with one of the Running Man members and one of the Guests Additional Shoot as a Prize itself) actually reminds me of Kwang Soo Hyung when he got dragged (accompanied him because he so shy to go to her house alone) by Se Chan Hyung when he got a *"Visit So Min by physically go to her house"* while Ji Hyo Nuna just chose Wireless Earphones

Well i get it, the whole idea is to tease and prank Somin, but the execution wasn't really that good IMO. Take a good example from Eps 60 The TruGary show, its pretty damn entertaining, even tho its also an actual prank from all cast+staff against Gary. My sister stopped watching halfway, because she felt so bad for Somin...

This episode reminds me of the episode “kwangsoo revenge episode “ where kwangsoo was tired of being teased and wanted to be the hero and win but in the end it didn’t work 😂😂 This should have been a revenge episode of somin and seokjin against all the members. No matter what the other members did somin and seokjin would win but it was funny as hell too

This whole ep games is so chill fun xD 0:57+1:08 xD our TIGER is so playful mischievous xDD he act listen to SM order but just keeps doing the sounds "attack" to scared Kang hoon instead of ripping off Kang hoon name tag hahaha 13:44+16:35🐯: i wrote it… Actually our TIGER is so thoughtfulness he knows SM wants to have meal with Kang hoon so he quietly help her n write "A course meal Kang Hoon"…our TIGER is so thoughtful sweet :)✌❤🐯🔥🔥

The choices are kind of unfair to Somin. No one would want an additional shooting with cameras and all after shooting RM for who knows how many hours. It's obvious the production team meant it as a punishment and they literally slipped up many times mentioning it (specially Sechan hearing them talking about installing cameras on the punishment car). This whole episode is like watching something upside down, at moments it was confusing even for the cast, not knowing what's a good choice and what's a bad one. A messy special like Somin herself hahaha Those big namtags were hilarious tough.

It's not that they don't want to eat alone with Somin but they didn't like the idea that they have to shoot additional time. Going home early is the biggest prize they could ever ask for after hours of tiresome shoots. Running man just show us an edited version of one hour episode but it takes hours to shoot one episode. But anyway I still felt lil bad for Somin. Members were teasing her around but she looks so frustrated and tired, and just looking at her face it tells how sad she is. I guess her pride got hurt. She was just maintaining her Running man character, i bet she didn't even like kanghoon for real .

I've been watching running man since 7012 and honestly, I don't like this episode. I'm not a fan of JSM but I can really see that she is upset every time they make her feel that do not want to have a meal on her and it feels like JSM keeps pushing herself to them especially to KH for the sake of the show but I can see that she is genuinely upset every part of the game. I understand they want to go home early but why RM staff didn't consider to allot time for the penalty. I wonder if its with a girl idol or actress guest will they do consider it as a penalty too? It feels so heavy in me to watch the whole episode seeing their nags and complaints about the whole game. RM Prod should think other theme instead of playing this kind of race. But then again we do not know what is happening behind the camera. But overall, I did not really enjoy this episode.

I enjoyed the idea they had, but it felt like they dragged it out too much. They all looked so over it before it even ended (and I don’t blame them.) After filming for hours, I’m sure they all want to go home or eat WITHOUT having to still think of what to do or say in front of the camera for an extra hour or so.

some of the comment saying that this episode is boring and smth, i know that sometimes the teasing when too far... but i still laughed out loud because of this episode. i actually really love pd hyung in episode... she makes many running man healing episode like the one where they camp... well, i understand why people have opinion that this episode is a harsh to somin but if you look close enough, all of the member are still caring to somin. like, kanghoon always saying "but isn't being with somin is a good thing??" or when jaesuk fixing somin hair. when jongkook, saeho, sukjin, and jihyo put kanghoon name. i agree that this episode concept are not that good but let's not hate the production crew so much... and i don't get why people are saying kanghoon is boring... well, he is not a comedian. he is an actor. some actor finds it hard to adapt in variety show (and that's why somin and jihyo are so amazing). and i see that some people blame KH for join the teasing but let's not hate on KH, this is the production crew idea, this is the concept of this episode. the guest is just following the flow. and KH is a newbie in variety show, he is still learning so please don't blame him so much TT and if people forgot, in the beginning of episode (last week episode), KH are so caring for somin. i mean you remember when he said "happy but sad" for what he thought of somin. so please, please don't hate him TT he's actually a nice guy too... and i really appreciate saeho in this episode. saeho already have a close relationship with the rm members (which is why why their interaction feels more comfortable) and he is kind too! so thank you for this episode but i hope the production can give a more comfortable episode~fighting running man~

I don't know how their interactions with each other really is but I feel a little bit sad sometimes with Somin, esp at this ep. It was her "supposedly" special episode but the theme made it look like it was a penalty. I wish they'd give her a real "special" episode even without using any guests as her "price". Watching this also made me miss a lot of runningman. I miss the REAL name tag race. It's been too long since the last legit name tag race happened. I also miss their penalties back then esp the water bomb and scary rides. I also miss their water and pool games. Missing the idol vs runningman episodes. Maybe I'm just emotional right now but I hope we get an episode like the old times. I very much love the members which is why I still watch it even after other members left. But right now it's starting to feel the same with other variety shows. 🥹

I think that was the whole point of this episode. Somin's special about teasing her. Remember early episode about Trugary Show? That was one of Gary's special episode about him being a "spy". But turned out it was an episode about members tricking Gary. Still, we call that episode as Gary's special eps

This episode kind of left a bad taste in my mouth because i get the members love teasing somin but they over did it and i didnt like it how kanghoon just got involved too and didnt show a little bit of compassion for somin. I get that they all are close but this whole episode was just about making fun of somin like from the staff to the members to the guest, everyone was teasing her and i can tell she wqs exhausted from the whole thing.

Overall this episode is quite funny though poor Somin kept teasing by her oppas.😂

Ripped name tag, i almost forget this game, this running man i know first, after gary left they like change a little bit like other variety show, but still have mission on race, and cover by funny kwangsoo and they funny tease each other haha, but after kwangsoo left too, idk, i feel like something missing about running man, idk..

I was wondering if that huge nametag is different with kwangsoo's in the older episode when his hair got stuck. It's looks like somin and jihyo's hair didn't stuck on it.

I dont know why people feel so bad watching this episode. They know each other for long time, of course they prefer going back home then eating full course meal 😅. Somin also keep chasing for kang hoon even when he shows no interest (or just act for fun maybe). Its not his fault. Dont you think se ho got feeling also? He might hurt also, when they keep belittling him 😌. So just chill everyonee

Somin felt so uncomfortable but she never left Sae Ho she was just telling the truth about her ideal type esp. the height what's so wrong with that? It's refreshing to watch a female being a female-feminine sometimes women who tend to show masculinity have more cravings for mens attention that they sometimes look desperate because they can't express it in real time tbh with Somin she makes other people feel good on the spot by gushing over them and being honest on-screen we just don't know off-screen and I can't blame her. It's sad but episodes like this... makes me slowly accept that she left Running Man.

This episode was hard to watch as a somin fan and tbh we know that somin doesn't actually have crushes for the male guest it's just for the show but kanghoon reaction showed in ep that he didn't like having spending time with her and tbh cho sae ho wasn't bad in this ep as he was reacting to most of her and jk and jaesuk always help her too but in future i hope there will be some male guest that'll actually like her and be nice with her

but kanghoon did better on this episode tho, his natural response getting better. he said he wants and likes got chosen by somin to be a team mate. and he let her pinch his dimples while they're in opposite team. he is definitely getting better and this is only his 2nd appearance on varshow. dont be harsh on him please

this episode is fun yet boring and somehow uncomfortable. teasing her is okay on each episode basis. but teasing her and stressing her for the whole episode is kinda the worst. at least give her option too to avoid having the meal with someone she doesnt want to. the whole race isnt fair for somin and seho. its like they got forced to be the scapegoat for this filming 😌 glad that they're good together at the end.

This episode for me was 20% funny and 80% the opposite. The way they played Somin, i didn't like it even though it's for "Fun". All the members didn't give their best just because they had to eat with Somin for additional shooting. There should be a limit to this kind of humiliating fun. I felt soo bad for her (she might not feel the same being the lovely and fun person she is). Also can they STOP bringing saeho over and over, he must be a nice person but soo boring always

I’m not happy with this episode and this is the first time I’m saying this as a huge running man fan. In fact I can’t believe I’m criticizing an episode. There’s nothing wrong with teasing Somin in fact it’s one of my favorite interactions. My problem is with the production and rules of the game. The Production team relies too much on the members to make a concept interesting, they just drop a random scene and expect the members to make a miracle. The concept was lacking , the rules were slack (the members kept ignoring them) and other problems. The members rely too much on Somin and Sukjin nowadays to create content. If they’re not teasing Sukjin , it’s Somin and that’s all. It’s like the episode where they kept driving around town with Sukjin been the target of YooKook. My point is if you’re going to create an episode that centres around a member,then plan it well. Someone used the TruGary episode as an example. This episode had no punishment to motivate members and just bland concept. The main person wasn’t even enjoying it(I know the point was to prevent her from enjoying it, but the way it was done was distasteful). Running Man needs better planning and ideas from the production team. Next week looks like it’ll be a rehash of the same thing they’ve been doing all year. Honestly, when it comes down to it, maybe it’s time for RM to end or go on a break and come back with better ideas. The show’s not good anymore and it’s not about the physical activities or games. It’s because both the production team and members don’t have their hearts in it anymore and I can understand that. I can’t imagine doing a show for 13 years. Let’s face it , most of us are still watching this show because of the nostalgia and our love for the members. As much as it would hurt and break my heart, maybe it’s time to say goodbye to my favorite show.😭

@SuperChick Previous I don’t think it’s an ego thing, it’s more of the status of the members. All the members are established celebrities who have been in the industry for a long time , Hyung In is a new PD with little experience. It’s going to be difficult for her to have complete control over the cast like Chul Min or the earlier PD’s. And from what I’ve noticed about the Korean culture, Seniority is very prominent and Hyung In might get criticized if she overly stands her ground. That’s why it should be a mutual job I.e Hyung In makes strict rules and interesting games and the members abide by them without grumbling or complaining. That way she won’t feel like she’s been ignored or insulted and the members would also have a good idea to create content from.

From last episode (The remaining first part of this ep), I know damn well I won't be tuning in for this episode and I'm glad I didn't. It's hard to even finish this 20 mins video, I don't even have to explain why, most people in the comment already said it. Not mad or anything, it just that umm not as entertaining(?) especially when it's clear on her face. Good job to all tho, looking forward to better episodes from the PD.

Before y'all saying stuff like I'm overreacting or anything - There are only two instances in which I genuinely felt bad or not so comfortable watching the episode throughout all 650+ episodes of running man, was when they made Sukjin wear that hot ass padding jacket and all and keep teasing and honestly, lowkey bullying him throughout the episode and also this episode. Probably has more episodes than that but these two are significantly felt.

This episode very funny. But ji hyo really not function in this episode
