Tbh for me the role playing stuff most of the time feels cringy and heavily scripted. After gary left, it's one of the reason why i stopped watching RM for a few years. I just got back to it recently.

I miss old runningman. Their intro for every episode were so funny.

The current running man is just as good. I wish people stop saying this they try their best for every episode. Like you said they're old yet do so much physical work just for their viewers. It's still very funny!

They just got old i mean most of them are on their 50's or touching the 50's so they don't want to go crazy like the beginning and just want to relax which it is bad because the show will get cancel eventually

They have 400+ episodes, its really hard to come up with a unique concept and new games to play in every episode. I'm still enjoying the group banter and dynamics from day one till the latest episode, these special concepts were just bonuses.

This is why i think Running Man best episodes will always be without the guest, we can see all the members potential without them have to take care of something else, we can see their team work..

I miss these. Where they always come out with characters for their opening segment. And even sometimes the pd would ask them a specific type of clothing. Like when they were asked to dress up like they were in 20s. Or when going to a club or a flower boy. They rarely do it these days.

Those were fun, but I think it just takes so much time, that a lot of the members don't have the time for it anymore. Doing all these extra props also takes extra time and can be very inconvient. I love these theme ones, but I also understand why they stopped doing them.

When Kwang Soo as an alien landed on Earth and the first thing he did is catching Earth language is mesmerizing. Its shows how he as an actor know what to do even its supposed to be funny but he put some logical aspect for it

they'd have to do that or do more activities or make up or props(i dont think they have that kinda budget/time/creativity anymore) , they're also getting old and getting tired of doing those things for years and sometimes they also have to endorse the guest, i kinda like the format nowadays , you'll know more of their lives and events happening

I sometimes wonder why the current running man PD doesn't want to bring this type of game back. It's easy to understand, funny and show off their great family relationship. Nowadays, the game is so complicated with coins, bomb stickers, roulette... Hopefully the new PD can actually bring some simple yet fun games back again. Not forgetting to show off their great family bonding.

Wish they bring back role play games, where there is a story behind every game, fantasy, horror, mystery etc . I know the members are getting old but at least they could come up with better ideas that doesn't cause too much physical strain on them.
