I did make a deal with God. I got hit with CFS/ME. My life was ruined, everything gone. I couldn't run anymore, one thing that made me feel free. Or hike or work or socialize. I couldnt even get out of bed. I thought it was pretty stupid. Things may end that way for me. It was incredibly painful experience and seemed totally senseless. I surrendered and asked God for help. I heard "Serve me and I will give you strength." So I agreed. And thats when I realized I needed to practice having an equal give and take relationship with God. With the universe. With everything. Spiritual interdependency. Beautifully done on the song. 💕

One of my favorites songs. To see and understand beyond appearances that divide us. Through surviving childhood trauma and other relationships over the years, there were times it felt too easy to distrust others and make them an enemy, but in the silence with my tender heart that’s held a yearning to know the truth of a reality beyond this conscious plane, to experience the power of oneness between spirit & human existence, I became aware that holding on to unhealed wounds would rob my life from experiencing how our ineffable spiritual nature is more powerful than anything we humanly will encounter in our lives.
