Man this guy has a very basic approach as far as gear. Good top line no frills board. Can tell he's been in the game a while. Knows what he likes and sticks with it. A lot of newer guys change brands and stuff way to much I think. Good interview. Also no triggers because the drummer brooks is that freaking good and consistent of a player.

What do you think triggers have to do with being good and consistent? You do realize playing with triggers makes all your hits stick out like a sore thumb, so any mistake you make is glaringly obvious, and you have to be an insanely consistent and flawless player to use them properly?

Also, if a mixing engineer says he has triggers set up, it doesn't always mean they're running samples. Could a lot of times be triggers that just open tom and snare gates.

Bob is a fantastic human! Made sure that my Son was in the pit at a knot show for his 12th birthday. Seeing my son light up when he got to tell will call that he was on Slipknot’s guest list was incredible! Such a great dude!

I can attest to this "Shirt"(?) fellow being an amazing mixer, I saw A7X in 2014 Hail to the King Tour, and their mix and PA was among the best I've ever heard and I'm a music professional and have attended and worked hundreds if not 1,000+ concerts at this point.

Dig these, every one of them. I'd appreciate more on the PA, ie., here's a shed tour, an arena stop ... I'd dig hearing him describe the challenges at that venue (coverage, LF build-up/resonances, overall LF character shed vis-à-vis arena, etc, I get he's not a system tech). Thanks Again, nice work (I know, we've got it so good today, everything we could hope for ... yet we want a little more!)

Went to the avenged show at the forum it was amazing! One of the best shows I’ve been to. The only thing is that it was very guitar heavy which is epic! I just wish the toms on the drums and the base drum were turned up just a bit I couldn’t hear them at times. 1000% would go again though🤘🏼
