Running party, milestone T-Shirt celebration at Bramley parkrun!
Week 3 of parkrun returning to England!
We headed over to the hilly Bramley parkrun to celebrate Amanda Murray-Hind's 100th parkrun in Hawaiian themed fancy dress. I'd forgotten just how good it feels to wear fancy dress at a parkrun! Talk about a party atmosphere?! We had an absolutely brilliant run and celebrated afterwards with cake!
We also remembered Woodhouse Moor parkrunner, and Horsforth Harrier, Stephen O'Hara on what would have been his 500th parkrun. Steve died with 497 parkruns under his belt. Your parkrun family miss you Steve.
I can't wait for next week! Where in parkrunworld will we end up?!

The hula marshal is a great parkrun friend who's an absolute nutter and one of my favourite reasons to visit Bramley!

Could have a subtitle- ‘Normal People go Mad on Saturday Morning-‘. What great video. Sums up the spirit of parkrun. If you’re slow or walk that’s brilliant. If your really quick - that’s brilliant. Great if you want to dress for the occasion, if you don’t that’s also great.

Wonderful! So much fun and absolutely ages since I've seen a fancy dress parkrun. Poppy and a marshall at the hula workshop was great. Pleased to see your 500 club milestone t-shirt was still part of your outfit. 💛

I've done this park run , it's a great little friendly park run.
Cake security is difficult 🤣🤣
Someone made reference (can't take credit) to a mullet and tail-end parties/races/parkrun i.e. its business upfront and party at the back :)
