Running man was really big variety show. First watching them was because of some idols guesting in the shows but after watching several episode its was like the show was really good eveb if they dont have famouse group gusesting in the show. The origanal cast of running man was really my happy pill.

Jarell Mae Alfonso from my observation, i think RM has much bigger success internationally than locally. Korean prefer 1n2d over RM. 1n2d really success in korea but international fans barely know 1n2d, it just minority who love that show, and vice versa. RM famous internationally even for those who don't like kpop/kdrama. There are many loyal RM fans all over the world. After many outlet media in korea reported that RM famous in the world, korean recognize their success, but still, they prefer 1n2d over RM. But I don't know the case now when kbs stop 1n2d for the time being. Well, i guess it just a matter of preference.

Seeing this, it's actually heartwarming how running man overcome their critical problems from low ratings, gary leaving, kicking kjk and sjh without them knowing and the possibility of ending their show in the late years. Also seeing how the new members giving new flavors and laughter to the show even a lot of people still don't like them, I'm just so happy that they overcome it together.

their ratings doesnt necessarily means theyre not popular in korea. 7% as an average rating is still high. Ratings are not the same before because there's a lot of competing variety shows in korea right now unlike in the past.
