It took 2 rounds of cdl's sani clean this season, but our 9 year old d&g flue pan looks as good as new. The sugar usually comes off in globs after warming it to just before it boils,

Out here in WI it seems to just bake on!

i agree this year the stff that cooked on was bad. i'm a small producer with about 1400 taps and made 521 gal. a also use bulk tank acid but did not want to touch it. lot of soaking and lots of scrubbing. did qwick bath on front pan about 4 times but the dividers were a monster to clean.

Yeah it just gets tougher each year it seems.

I know the feeling I'm in the automotive parts business I mainly deal wholesale with body shops and repair facilities. Profit margins have dipped use to be 25 to 30% your lucky now to be 18 to 22% But we keep chugging along 💪

Agreed it takes more and more to make what we used to.

Nothing is easy lol!! Even having fun isn’t easy go out for a nice trail ride then u have maintenance. Always something that needs to be fixed or worked on. Went target shooting yesterday with my nephew and his friend. Today im cleaning rifles scope twisted inside the rings one of my rifles now dealing with that. Now i remember why i haven’t went target shooting many years now haha. It was worth it to see the look on my nephews face just always a price to pay i guess.lol!! Nothing worth while is easy use to race professionally snowmobiles the money and work i put into it but still wish i was racing. Guess what im saying if it was easy everyone would be doing it. Use to run my own business had some good years till i didn’t but working for someone isnt all that either haha. Hang in there maybe versatile do some work on ATV’s or something. I live im upstate NY my moms side of family were big dairy farmers i grew up working farms. Grandfather had 5 brothers all dairy farmers use to own half the valley. Now no more dairy farms in my family not many left period its definitely getting harder to run a small business for sure.

I do, except that the pump went out with less than 3 full seasons on it after being rebuilt.
