I absolutely adore this game. as a retro gamer i proper get chase hq, afterburner and roadblasers vibes and akira is my fave anime so this wasnt a hard sell at all. only thing Id say is why cant you turn the music off completely. i love the ost but i have my playlist but even with music off you can still faintly hear it over my spotify thats my 1 complaint lol. oh and more levels and badass bikes please lol

@@TheSilentStar we will probably position it after the new year; since the end of the year schedule is so packed. We’re gonna fold in the Japanese update from the Quest version as well. PC port is partially done (already plays fine with oculus native) but we have to account for a ton of configurations for Steam.

I love the 90’s anime aesthetic of this game… They even got Steve Blum (voice of Spike in Cowboy Bebop) to play Vice!

You know this game really reminds of Road Blasters - the classic 1980s arcade game that had the steering wheel with the triggers on it to shoot, and the pedal to accelerate. That game was super fun.

1) I recognize those bugs. That’s Galaga. They’re back! Shoot’em! 2) I was watching this with my dog by my side. Every time you said “Bad dig”, he thought you were talking to him. He started to act sorry and ashamed. I had to pet him, and tell him he was a good dog.

I like how it says CAMO KIT and you make the bike BRIGHT PINK 😂

Everytime I get into a car, my mind be imagining either parkour on the road or chase sequences like this.

When you hold your left gun you can steer with the right stick. Also, when shooting you can hold the grip button to use the laser sight for awesome precision aiming!

I've just come to say that this game is slappin! On top of that you're definitely my favorite vr lets play creator, and I would totally love to see you play more of this game. I know my comment will likely get lost to the wind, but there's even more to this game that I feel we would all totally love to see your reaction to. Cooler levels in the future, and rad bikes to unlock. Highly recommend

Character on the TV screen in the beginning sounds like Steve Blum, who did Spike Spiegel's voice in "Cowboy Bebop" anime series and hundreds of character voices for other games, cartoons, anime and films throughout the years.

The game looks good, but definitely suffers from feature bloat, they could've at least spaced out the features instead of putting them all in at the start of the game and giving you WAY too much to remember.

While we give folks a bunch of options, players can take the game at their own pace: The game was really made for repeat play (as inspired by 90’s arcade games). It can be overwhelming for some but repetition is mastery. We provide control prompts and hints throughout the game. While there are multiple systems available, the only stuff players have to remember are ride and shoot ;) That being said, he absolutely nailed the game on the first playthrough!

@@TruantPixel Got a few games for the PSVR2 launch but keep coming back to Runner daily. Fun, challenging and it beautifully hits those nostalgia anime notes with the music and visuals. An awesome VR experience.
