Hi, would you recommend these for someone struggling with posterior tibial tendon pain? I like the way theses exercises feel but worry about the injury as conventional wisdom says I should be in orthotics all the time...

Did you even rectify your posterior tibial tendon pain? I find short foot makes it worse.

@@DSRT888 actually I did! Once I stopped trying to focus on the individual muscles and looking at the way I moved as a whole. I saw a physio who made me realise I was so scared of the pain that I had forgotten how to move. He recommended walking backwards( a remarkably effective exercise for undoing crappy motor patterns - this helped a lot); riding my bike "like a kid" just whizzing about and having fun; crawling exercises like bear crawl (see GMB videos, its really good fun and you get strong too. I enjoyed seeing progress in other areas of strength which distracted me from obsessing over the foot pain). I suppose my point is- if you've ended up on this video (very niche podiatry) looking at short foot exercises, you are probably rather obsessed about your foot pain because it is really affecting your quality of life. This is how I was for about a year until this physio shed a light on what I was doing. Humans are remarkably efficient at fixing themselves without the need for these incredibly finicky exercises extolled in this video. Good luck mate.

@@drnorton364 Yeah you're absolutely right for why I'm here. Actually felt a bit of hope. To be honest. Im considering just walking in minimalist shoes and reconstructing my foot the long way. The wrong exercise literally puts me out for days at a time. Thanks.
