I soldered a 560 ohm resistor across the mic leads to attempt to stop the audio from clipping and distorting the audio. The resistor lowers the input signal to the Runcam's audio recording which will lower the volume but stop the clipping. This is a static test of three of my planes with the Runcam just temporarily strapped on.
I think it works well...the first plane clips on my hat cam but not on the Runcam. The audio on this video is not processed.
The hat cam is my Sony FDR-X3000 for comparison.
