Package "wine32" has no installation candidate. Can you please help me?

I've been using Linux for 15 years and also own a Chromebook plus, the easiest way to run windows applications without having any headaches is to enable flatpak support and then install (Bottles) Wine is good but directly installing it for the average user is too complicated and there are way to many mechanics involved which is why (bottles) and (lutris) exists to prevent breakage because wine is already bundled with the application!

Flatpak are already really huge packages. For an entry level Chromebook that comes with 64GB of storage, I don't see how this can work. First the Linux container itself takes about 10GB minimum of storage. Perhaps it should work best with premium Chromebooks.

Bottles is also more approprite for all ages than Wine. Which is good to me because I am 16.

i tried running a game and i kept getting 0009:err:dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderImpl_SetObject : could not attach stream to file L"C:\\windows\\system32\\drivers\\gm.dls", make sure it exists i dont have any music or text when playing the game...

Hello I got to 4:32 and when I write wine and the file name it tells me “it looks like wine32 is missing, you should upload it what should I do? Please help

Did you run sudo apt get install wine32 as showed in 2:13 ?

You were wrong about what is Wine because you said it was an emulator but WINE stands for "Wine Is Not An Emulator". It is a compatibility layer.

mine just keeps saying - bash wine not found when i go to type winecfg

Looks like wasn't installed properly. Try following the steps again

You can use: ‘sudo apt purge wine32 wine64’ Then type: ‘sudo apt autoremove’ Do this before any new attempts to reinstall wine again
