This error can also occur if you are attempting to add more items into an ARRAY than it can fit. Eg dim array 0 to 5 then try to add a value to array(6)

Thank you very much! That solved my error.

What I was hoping to see a solution for is how to get the code to perform the action on any active worksheet, not one with a specific name such as "first "or "Second". If I download a file, I want the code to run on the active worksheet, without having to 1) copy & paste data into a named sheet (i.e. "First") and then run code, nor 2) rename the worksheet on downloaded file to (i.e.) "First". I only run into this error when I try to perform sorting functions with filters on data. All other macro/VBA runs fine and does not require a worksheet name within which to perform the action(s). Do you have any ideas for this?

Hi, Thank you for fixing the error 9. this error also occurs when there are two different files are open and when working on the other file and if the micro is scheduled at particular time and that time, if the same file is not open where macro is, is supposed to run then this error is curred. please let me know how to fix this.

Sir same problem gets in my software Atacc I'm to much worried for it pls sir if u see msg pls reply I'm worried a lot past some days... Problem - when I'm giving print 1 - it shows select printer 2 - after selection when we print it shows 9 subscript out of range I don't know what do next my question is do I can do same as it is as u shown with my software
