​​​@@ChainReactionsChannel yep they involved in ALL aspects of the music/comeback, from proposing concepts (soyeon has some PowerPoint skills hahaha), writing, producing etc. this was miyeons first credit on group album tho (vision was her and minnie) so we have 4/5 members writing now 😮 [album credits summary: super lady, revenge, fate, wife-soyeon(4); doll, rollie-yuqi(2); 7days, vision-minnie(2); vision-miyeon(1)] thanks for shouting out soyeon and appreciating our girls tho!! 🤭💞 Soyeon just got certified as a full KOMCA member too, so thats a huge thing to celebrate :) also soyeon recently said that she was in charge of directing the concept film too, she just requested things and then got her vision done.

Doll is my favorite from this album! I need more songs from Yuqi, I like her style so muchhhh😩 Thank you for your reaction and commentary!!

Fate is so anime-esque, and Soyeon basically said it on Lee Mujin Service (you should check that out too). But for a title track I do think anthems like Super Lady is more fitting. And I also love that they have full english songs in this album. It just adds to the flavour and unlike , they actually wrote these songs. Favourite album wise, for me it’s a tussle among Two, I Never Die & I Burn.

this album is so cool bc we can see each member through their songs (meaning the songs they produced) Soyeon produced wife, super lady, fate and revenge Yuqi produced doll and rollie Minnie produced 7days and vision (which I believe even Miyeon was involved in vision)

Curiously enough, Soyeon sang a bit of Fate today on Le Mujin and confessed that she wrote it as if it was going to be part of the OST of an anime. On a radio show this morning she also said that Fate was considered as the title track for a while. Now that would have been a different comeback... Another curiosity that she told Melon on their ask me anything this morning is that she wrote Super Lady the way she did because she felt that they did not have a proper concert intro song, so expect that to blow the doors open of their next world tour.

I would recommend you to watch her Lee mujin service. She sings an unreleased song and fate. She covers Big Bang and 2NE1. She also talks about the reasons for their self-producing, her past and what she did for this album.

Imho Fate is obviously anime intro inspired. I had that exact same reaction as you did! Like... such a warm nostalgic feeling! Even the lyrics reminded me of a 90s-00s anime that I would just watch to feel good. Some slice of life highschool romcom or whatever. Another amazing take on a whole different genre! Again I-dle really does it all! I can't wait for them to try making a metal-ish song but aside from that I think I've heard all genre (that I can currently think of) by them. I've never known a group SO diverse! The just slay in everything 🎉 Multi-genre queens!

I really really love this album actually. I didn't think it'd happen some day but I'm not so sure about my favorite album anymore... I need more time before slandering the masterpiece that is I Burn, but still. In my (current) opinion, it's the album with the strongest "weakest" song so far (and I don't even know which one it is tbh) and I just love it as a whole. Holy Moly Nice Album from (G)I-DLE and Album Reaction from you as i thoght it will be. I Waitet for your Reaction to here the other Tracks myself, to see if i have the same feelings at the first time i here it as you do and i definetly had. So yeah i dont prefer to rank them after only hearing them once but i agree that they are all Bangers. But thats just another greatness of (G)I-DLE and most likely Soyeon in the first place at most of the time. That any Song they Realesed is seamingly a Banger in its own way and even if there are some Songs that have kind of the same vibe and/or message its talking about, any song does it on its own way and thats just pure Greatness and why i felt in Love with (G)I-DLE a bit more than 5 Years ago and why i did it again a few months ago (2 months or so before HEAT hit the WORLD) and i definetly dont regret putting my time into getting up to date with all there older Stuff that released betwenn that times and so will you with your Reactions. I Personally cant just Recommend you Song by Song. I Love them All, from there Debut to the Full 2 Album and im pretty sure you will do too, even if it take you Ages if you want to look at all of them individually, bcs. of course we know the KZread Algorithem, and the other Nevies who didnt found you already and stayed bcs. they think you are a great person, will bring a hard time to your Channel if you would only React to Stuff that is between 8 Months and nearly 6 Years Old and all is from the same Group. Bcs. than you dont have anything up from the new Stuff that other great People are bringing to the World what would bring more Range and Diversity to your Channel if you React to it when it realeses, which than hopefully grows the Channel and than hopefully helps a little bit with the Algorithm Problem and so on. Im not really sure why i drifted so much into it but there you have it. (Just to be Clear i will be there Nethertheless how long it will take you to catch up with most/all of the older Stuff from them.) Anyway what I have definetlly learned on this Comeback is that Soyeon absoluttly dont care about the feelings off Scared Little Men. (I Love this Title btw.) And even if its nothing totally new bcs. Most of Neverland knowed already she will always stay the same, nethertehless what other people say. On this Comeback she brought it into Words, whithin a whole Song (produced for mainly but not only this (i believe)) which is leaving absolutely no playground anymore, to get her *REVENGE* on all the Haters out there in the World. And she will definetly get more Revenges in the Future, i htink that will Clearly be the Case. So yeah the only think left to say now is that i loved this Video. I would lie if i dont say i would loved it even more if you pointet out more nicely done Writing/Production/Singing Parts (like on the Heat Reaction) but maybe there wasnt? I just dont know it. But on the other Hand i can also understand that you dont want to have an Video which is 60+ Minutes long (which you also have to edit afterwards, with what im not sure if you did it much bcs of the lack of Words underneath the Video scene, but thats also fine bcs. i think you had found words which were good enough to make clear what you fought about the Songs, even in your mentioned tired Status you were in, so no offensive meaning there from me. I did try to keep this video short - as I'm sure you know by now I can talk a lot! You can see I talked less and less as the video went on... Honestly I was busy with work, I wasn't feeling well, and I did this reaction in between working. I didn't want to delay so I rushed making it and I didn't have much time to edit sadly. Of course it could be better but there will always be a thing that will bring the Status of being "not Perfect" regardless of what someone can think about, even Soyeon isnt Perfect. And that is something good, i think. (Im sitting here again way too long to only bring this two sentences on the Screen, as well as i did with my other Comment for what i needed approximately 3 Hours to post it. 😀I love seeing u so hyped for the girls...My jaw dropped when I first saw the m/v and performance video yesterday (fortunately I've watched them in the evening, my time, after i got back from the office & I've watched it with the official english subs) & after that , 21 minutes of pure bliss listening to the album...I absolutely adore "Rollie", Doll, Revenge , Fate, heh, all of them actually... Also, I've just finished watching: Soyeon's KBS Kpop LIVE performance kzread.info/dash/bejne/pmeVmayDda7PfaQ.html. I was amazed how good she sings other types of songs that she doesn't usually perform (also I've watched Minnie's. yuqi's & Miyeon's ep's... WOW , all live performances. I knew they were great live singers, but WOW again. I must recommend them to you, if you haven't already watched them...

The performance video looks amazing! This is going to be so dope in their world tour later this year! The new albums shows the different sides of them especially when we have four of the members writing credits. ‘Vision” which you called a pretty song was written by Miyeon and Minnie. And Minnie also wrote “7 Days” which are both softer songs. Then you have Yugi, who wrote “Doll” and “Rollie” which have a different vibe. And the rest of the songs are by our amazing leader Soyeon! All of the songs are great so I don’t have a favorite other the parts that Miyeon sings! Speaking of, Princess Cho Miyeon is celebrating her birthday (1/31/2024). If you have a chance check out Soyeon on Lee Mujin Service EP. 99 that was just released today. She opened up on what she has been through and sings, it is a must see! Minnie, Miyeon and Yugi and all been in the show and they were all amazing! If you like anime, check out Soyeon and Miyeon as part of KDA which is Riot’s League of Legends. Just a small insight into WIFE. I see a lot of reactors seeing it just as a commentary on traditional views on the woman's role in marriage but the Korean verses are also at the same time basically their version of WAP. SO many sexual innuendos. I think that is why them not having subs for that specific mv is purposeful by Soyeon. It has so many layers. Chorus is the daytime expected roles of wives and verses are the sexual expected roles of wives but carrying over the theme to choose the words to rap for the verses so it's not just saying explicit words. Shuhua pretty much raps "If you ever take over my role, fill me until I'm full and then I'll take it again." Soyeon raps "are you big enough to be a dad(dy)." These aren't direct translations but the way it can be heard in Korean. I've seen American reactors talking about how there is slight controversy with "WIFE" in Korea regarding it being played where children can hear it, and they immediately jump to "Look at how conservative Korea is. It's because they don't want women questioning the wife's role." That's not the reason why. Soyeon is such a genius. ::edited to split into paragraphs::

It seems like they won't be captioning WIFE. I think also because there are parts of the songs where words are purposefully pronounced differently so people might hear a different word being said. Captions are still not up so I think it's on purpose. So many people rag on Soyeon on her English pronunciation but 7days showcases that it's definitely a stylistic choice! She does the same thing when she raps and sings in Korean. Changing pronunciation and grammar to fit the beat and song. If you've seen the behind the scenes of the making of Queencard, you can see at one point Miyeon asks if she should pronounce Queencard in English or Korean (Queencard vs Queen-ca-deh) and she says pronounce it as Queen-Kah. I've found people who are rappers or know when rappers are doing rapper shit notice it's stylistic while others just make fun of her English (which kindof gives me racist undertones) saying things like she should never write English lyrics and stick only to Korean. Since we both love Soyeon and the other super ladies of I-dle, a cool thing you might not know is that, especially in the beginning, she would write the lyrics with the singer in mind and since 3 of the members are foreign, Soyeon would use words that are easier for that member to pronounce in Korean due to their accent. How boss is that of her?! To me, I feel like that must be so hard. Instead of just writing lyrics, you'd have to take into account which sounds which native language have an easier time saying. No wonder our ladies have so much trust in her. Btw love your videos and it gets me kindof pissed how little subscribers you have!!!!!!! Oh and def, unless they are verified WOMEN like I-dle, Mamamoo, Sistar, Taeyeon, etc... I'd slow the roll on the thirst. Haha. Since a lot are under 21.

Her songs from her album ALPHA are amazing. About 2/3 of the album has MVs. She started her own label after being f'd over by YG Entertainment. To this day, GG rappers during training are often told to try and bring a bit of CL into their style.

The performance video is the proof they would slay it live with Super Lady. As for the rest of the album, it's true that it's pretty short, barely getting 20 minutes but they're an amazing 20 minutes thankfully! The notable female empowerment theme is pretty well done throughout, I definitely loved the overall sound they went for on this one. Aside Super Lady, which is *the* song, I love Doll and 7Days. Rollie is one that grew on me, not my typical style but it works and I had the album on loop for a few hours as soon as I could listen to it. And Wife, well, that's the troll song that everyone will love to hate but it's an awesome addition to finish it off.

I’m so bad at ranking, but I thought this was a very well done and cohesive album. Way too short, but that seems to be the trend. I prefer this album as a whole to I Feel, especially loving Minnie and Yuqi’s songs again. Your agenda sounds good!

The shorter songs are a little sad to me but like you said, that's not (G)I-DLE, it's more of a trend unfortunately. That being said yeah this album flows very nicely and the whole thing is enjoyable! 🤩

Great reaction, though I was working while listening so I may have missed some of the finer points. Did you get your album(s) yet? Picked up mine from a store this morning, unfortunately with a slightly smushed poster, but don't think i'm putting that up on my wall anyway. The stickers are a bit disappointing but the box cover totally made up for it. They spent $$ on this one. Soooooo looking forward to BB#. I had no doubt you would have fun recording that one. I should go back and check this reaction to see if your beard or eyebrows are singed at all. With any luck you'll survive Lion and Oh My God intact so we can look forward to the Killing Voice reaction. Emotionally I am rooting for you but I'm not sure what odds of survival I'd give you. Eat your Wheaties. The Killing Voice is awesome. Not only is it great to hear their voices raw and unedited, showing their truly impressive talents, but the interpersonal dynamics are present throughout.
