@@Tfor2show You nailed this. About longer or shorter episodes. To me, the longer the better. I mean, to put in perspective, i regularly watch speed runs of video games of around 2 to 20 hours here on youtube. Yeah, not a typo 2 to 20. So, watching something longer for a franchise and movie i love, would be a pleasure.

That was a fantastic first episode! Everything a T2 fan could want. Well worth the wait since the teaser and oh! So short! I truly can't wait for next week's episode. So, I have to start with the Carolco shirt. The Carolco logo was everything to me as a kid - from T2 to Total Recall. I now want that shirt. And, I never realized it was pronounced Ca-roll-co. I always thought of it as Carol-co. That was pretty interesting. Also, the insight into the time between T1 and T2 was really informative. I honestly did not know any of that, aside from a few of the Gale Anne Hurd tidbits. But everything else was completely new to me. It's so interesting to hear about the rumors and conjecture about T2 before we got T2. Especially the talk of having Lance Henriksen return. I'm also glad that didn't happen and hey, we did get back Dr. Silberman. Well done, Uncle Casey! I loved it. Such a great episode and show. I'll be back.

Wow, thanks so much for all that great feedback! I'm honestly relieved that you thought it was short, because I thought it was too long, haha! My goal is to make these an average of 5-7 minutes each, so they're easily-digestible. I guess we'll see over time what the people like! As for the pronunciation, I also aways thought it was "Carol-co," until I heard Peter Kent saying "Ca-roll-co" on an episode of Eddie Greens T-101 podcast. It's a great listen if you haven't heard it!

@@stevenbiscotti9727 Well, we'll see! I guess if people end up preferring the longer videos, then that's what I'll do! I tend to ramble, so that would be easier for me to do anyway, haha. I had to trim some stuff out of this video to get it to the length it is, but all of that info will be used in other episodes of other topics in time.

You might want to order it one size up. Normal t-shirts from teepublic run in normal sizes, but the baseball tees seem to be just a bit slimmer than normal. For example, normally I wear a medium t-shirt, but I wear a large baseball tee. 🔥👍🏼🔥

Congratulations, Casey, on a wonderful first episode! Loved the production value and your sense of humor is right up my alley. Cool, too, how the way you present it makes it feel as though the movie MAY NOT happen... even though it's 2019 and the film released in 1991. That's the power of good storytelling. You get wrapped up in it and forget all else. GOOD STUFF!

You could point to a few things that fell into place perfectly in order for this sequel to happen. However, I think the biggest is Arnold's career really taking off as an action star. If the star of your film is fizzling out in popularity, obviously the studio is going to be more hesitant about green lighting a sequel to begin with. Plus, while Terminator was profitable, it wasn't hailed as anything too special in 1984. It was considered a decent sci-fi flick. It fell just outside of the top 20 at the box office for that year, but it's one of those films that gained more attention once it was on home video, & Arnold's star power got bigger. In a way, I think Predator in 1987 is very responsible for Terminator eventually getting the attention it deserved on the home video market which ultimately led to this sequel getting made.

Yeah, that's a good way to put it! The show mainly focuses on what I consider the "Golden era" of The Terminaor and T2... so like 1984-1996 or so. Every toy and video game, every piece of vintage merchandise, every scene and every character will eventually be explored and analyzed. It's been a lot of fun so far!
