Gabe, your continued sharing of the techniques involved to create pens on such a high level is simply amazing. By sharing your knowledge and experience you are not only showing how to be better pen makers but better people as well. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words and the $super thanks, I really appreciate it! I've always heard the two best places to gather knowledge are the library and the graveyard. I don't pretend to know a lot about making pens or selling them like my mentors but if I can share what I have learned the hard way it will make it better for the next person. Thank you Jeff for taking the time to watch my videos, much appreciated.

Tips still relevant in today's market. Hardest thing with items such as pen sales - everbody wants to undercut everybody, which just bastadises the margins and market for every other maker. Really like ya idea of unique designed pen configurations more suited to individuals comfits + the other different displayed items, which also attracts and creates a further conversation point... that hopefully makes customers wanna own it after hearing the story behind it. I've found busy stall/tables draw others in allowing other potential customers buy-in with a soft sell approach that likely leads to more questions followed by ⁹even further sales... Attraction draws more attention! Some sound advise, particularly around the story and backing yourself by maintaining price. Please keep sharing your knowledge on custom segmented blanks... More time higher costs/sale price- Yes... Other stall/tables offer them- No Pen makers have told me they can't sell $500 + pens but ya can't sell what's not on the table. Many Thanks, You've gotta new subscriber. Blessings, peaceoʻ ✌️

Hi Gabe, Fantastic video and I've picked up a couple of pointers as well. I multiply my costs by 2.5 but may well go to 3. Great video my friend. Take care Gabe. Cheers, Huw

Hi Kandie, kind of a bummer with the exotics isn't it? Just have to take some extra precautions like long sleeves a respirator with dust collection and gloves. Thanks for watching the video. Hope you are having fun with the bespoke pens.

Wonderful video, I have been enjoying all your teaching of techniques. I was wondering where you get Japanese Ebonite or any of the ebonite you use? I have been making and selling pens for about 4 years. I have mostly made wood or acrylic pens. My bespoke pens are all acrylic and I want to start making some with wood so I would like to try the sleeve technique you have shown. Thanks
