This presentation gives an introduction to the International and Inland Rules of the Road. It starts with the layout of the Nav Rules booklet, talks and about study recommendations and strategies, and then gets into the first rules. Not all vessel definitions are presented in this video. Some (not under command, restricted in ability to maneuver, constrained by draft, fishing) are defined in a later video discussing actions between vessels. The intended student is studying for a USCG exam.
