@@brophaner yeah James is such a badass. He's a huge reason why I never quit even when I wanted to quit. Huge inspiration to my life and demonstrated to me as a younger artist what you can accomplish if you put yourself in the practice shed and just work. He's nuts and I hope ya get a chance to meet him someday or get to experience his art in person. I went to one of his shows called "the dark and the wounded" and although the art was very much that (hung in an abandoned insane asylum mind you) I just thought throughout the entire thing "everyone needs to see this. If everyone saw this and resonated with what James is sharing here the world would be a more empathetic place" and I truly believe that. Thanks for covering the song! 🙂 I love the unique quality of your voice, it reminds me a bit of LPs vibe/range. If you don't know of LP look up ["Lost on you" by LP] and I'm sure you'll see what I mean.

@@FishinaBirdcage I've never listened to LP before, but I just did and thanks! I just wish I could hit those high notes, haha. The tones I sang in the cover is the highest I can go.

damn i love your voice! Have you htought of recording your voice and piano seperatly? I am sorry if i offendyou! I just thought it would make it easier to hear both well, the piano is a little bit over your voice. Anyway love your cover!

Definitely! Having a microphone really close to your voice would make a huge difference to the tone. Plus then you could somewhat mix it. Super challenging with a live performance unless you have specialized mic and a good sound guy though 😁

Thank you. I used the "official" chords, but improvised the piano version of the song myself, so I do not have any sheets (because I can't understand them, lol). The chords being Fm, Eo, Ab, Db, C and Eb.
