Rula Reba Ergonomic Survey Tools

This video is part of the lecture series Occupational Ergonomics: A Practical Approach. The text can be used as a single learning unit (back injury prevention) or a single unit with an evaluation tool (back injury prevention and the NIOSH lifting equation). The text can be used to create a complete graduate or undergraduate level course in ergonomics. Each chapter includes review questions and example assignments.
Adopting the text for a class gains access to exam questions and answers, answers to the review questions, power points for each chapter and additional videos. Please contact me with questions - Thank you for watching and learning ~ Theresa (TSTack@mtech.edu)

Very helpful video, tq. I would to know, how do we assess the leg deviation in seating position ( on the floor) while performing task.

A picture would help. If people are seated hips should still be slightly above the knees because of the bend in the knees and hips this would most likely be a 3. If they are seated in a chair and feet rest on the floor, then feet are supported and this could be a 1. If you had a picture I could help a bit more. tstack@mtech.edu

Thank you very much, I wish you could offer online courses. I have a question, how do we asses an entire task, I mean every position has a score, do we measure time of every posture? Thanks in advance
