Hats off, I was lucky as my family realised before me that I was in a abusive marriage. I am glad media is highlighting these underrated realities of our culture.

Maya Khan what an artist she is.....a class a part....I am her biggest fan since her long play written by legendary writer Sir Ashfaq Ahmad's Aik Mohabat So Afsanay... Zood E Pasheman.....She is simply awesome, though she worked a very little as an actress but whatever she played as an actress is a class. Now after so many years this play....i have goosebumps for her such tragic portrayal of an abused wife who is suffering from violent torture of her husband. Her acting is so skillful with full command over voice and dubbing. The director did the justice with such a story too.

So Touchy 😢I Have my father beating my mother till i was 10 year's old.. I can feel this horrible pain💔😭

Ending is so powerful... No one deserves to be treated like animals ... I even can't imagine this for animals.

I’m almost 20 years out of that. And almost 15 out of the fallout of finally standing up to an evil man. The years since are not something I can express here . My eldest was 8 years old, 3.5 and baby girl It’s as if this short film is written by a victim of domestic abuse. Alhamdulillaah I was able to become a survivor. And my 3 daughters. It never leaves you or your children. They are traumatised for lifetime. It’s a case of overcoming and keeping it packed up out of sight. Sometimes, a trigger will snap the lid open and tear at the wounds. You then have to pack it all back again and bury it deep in the back of your mind and heart. Keep smiling my beautiful abused sisters don’t let anyone put your glow out ❤

My husband and his mom too did this to me He abused me mentally more than physically just within 6 months of my marriage. And started doing this right after the marriage. My mother in law always supported her son in each and everything. Initially I didn't told anything to my family but when he said ki kisi ko btaya to tumhara janaza is ghar se niklega I decided to tell my family, and told everything to them still I stayed with him ki shayad wo sudhar jaye lekin jab usne apni maa k kehne pe mujhe ghar se nikaala i decided to not to go again to his house and my family supported me they never thought about what the fuc**ng society think because at last no one is gonna stay with my parents except me and my brothers. I'm living with my parents happily now.

Really like the message. Parents should stand with their daughters no matter what and make them strong both financially and physically.

Alhamdulilah... Alhamdulilah... Allah blessed me with the best of parents... Who just not only supported me moraly, emotionaly but build me climbed a step ahead... Ye brutal physical attempts to bohot door thy i just made my mind after being abused with words and character assassinations.... and just decided with me to take step right away rather being into traumatic and mental disorder... i just had to deal with emotional, and societal pressure... and i f***ed both so loud....

Amazing storytelling! The acting is phenomenal!! Maya Ji and Gul e Rana Ji are off the scale!! Men who beat their wives should beware, Allah says 'Do not strike the female slaves of Allah'. I came out of abusive marriage after 23 years,the torment I underwent still haunts me but that person has not changed a bit. He married again but after 12years of Separation I had to talk to him as my younger son was going astray. My son wanted to lead a rich life which I couldn't give. I earned less but Now my son is with him. The feeling I have now whom to trust 🙏
