Ruijie Reyee EST310 Wireless Bridge Performance Review

This short video will give you an idea of the performance you can get out of a Ruijie Reyee EST310 Wireless Bridge. We tested at 30m, 300m (with some trees and a fence) and at 800m with a clear line of sight.
The Ruijie Reyee EST310's come already in a two pack, paired and ready to go.
No clever tools, just lining up by sight. The icing on the cake is 3 years warranty and no software to install, just add them to the free Ruijie Networks Cloud Portal and you are ready to go!

When I read the brochure it keeps on mentioning IP camera and NVR and even the label on the two units are marked with "Camera side" and "NVR side". So my question is can I use this as a "normal" internet wireless bridge to allow a remote cottage to link-up to the main house internet link. My think was to use a Ethernet cable, connect one side to the 4-port switch at the back of the router and connect one wireless "box" to it. Then on the other side use the wireless box aligned and just add a standard wireless AP for the user to connect to their "local" AP and whalla you should have internet connection. It is just this talk of IP cameras all the time that scares me for buying the devices.

Hey, great questions. At the end of the day this is just a Wireless Bridge. Ruijie have built this product initially aimed mainly for a market that were nstalling camera systems and hence why they have named one end camera and one and receiver. That’s just a naming scheme. They are a full Wireless bridge that will work, just as you need it to.
