Àccording to Veteran Journalist Shri Raju Bharatan Film Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon which was Produced and Directed by Nasir Hussain which when newly released in Cinema Halls over India on Friday 1St November 1963 became a huge Profit earner at the box office earning a net profit of Rs 17500000.Further àccording to Veteran Journalist Shri Raju Bharatan this film had nothing new to offer as the story and script was repetitive.But the film became a huge commercial success at the box office on the strength of music and songs composed by Music Wizard Legendary OP Nayyar and because of beautiful poetry By Most respected Majrooh Sultanpuri Saab.
