Use a spent cartridge to remove the pin. The rim of a .380 round fits under the pin.

My slide won’t go all the way back on reassemble. I have to move it forward a bit and push little arm I see sticking up. Now slide goes all the way back. Every video I watch this never happens. What is that little arm that I have to push down so slide will go back all the way?

The same thing happens to me every so often. If I remember correctly it is the recoil rod (spring) that is getting hung up. I will check it in the morning and see if I can induce the problem. It doesn’t happen all the time but I think I know what you are talking about.

@@infiniteoutdooradventures2240 It's not surface rust, I thought it was at first though. Just the way the light reflects out of the serrations. I have seen a lot of videos of the slides rusting super quickly though.
