    HI Adam, nice practises. One question; what's the reason to keep the elbows in nice and tight? I guess sot they use their shoulders?

    There is a couple reasons for this. Elbows tight and hands up tightens the muscles in you're shoulder for impact. Youre shoulders will be stronger then it is loose or dropped down. It also provide better drive power with youre arms when you're shooting them thru and around you're opponent. This will give you better squeezing power to wrap the leg or body tightly.

    stand with your arms wide and get someone to push you in the chest. Then, adopt the stance demonstrated in this video and have someone push you in the chest. You'll know why pretty quickly. Much stronger position
