Rugby Roots: Courtney Lawes in Northampton
Спорт
Our Rugby Roots series continues with Courtney Lawes in Northampton, charting his remarkable, rapid rise from starting as a 15 year-old to an England debut aged 20.
Hear from his cheerfully direct mum Val, brother Cameron, coach Chris Parr and the laid back lock himself.

I have just realised that I used to work with his dad, Linford. One of the nicest blokes you could ever meet!!
Watching this for the first time as a long-time Saints fan. Irreplaceable. GOAT. All-round top bloke. Hard to accept that I won't see him in a Saints jersey ever again.
Favourite 2nd row player!

I used to play for the casuals. We used to beat old scouts every time (at u16 lmao).
The reason I like Courtney Lawes's attention is because he resembles my late Grandfather Jay Obed Mhlongo.
Late tackled his way to the top. Nice.

JOKE...anyway when are you playing the Saints vs Third Team FIJI at OLd Scouts flood plain. Losers will dumped in the Sewer by the local police. Which ppoistion do you want to play? Police said how is Cerise Day at MI6 London. ...Bollywood says you can be the next black James Bond 009 xx
Lawes is a thug and a coward. Rugby has always been a game for gentlemen to play with no need to injure others. He likes to injure other players (mostly late tackles!) A long list of bad tackles that includes his vicious tackle from behind against Argentina Gonzalo Tiesi breaking his knee ligaments @ Rugby world cup 2011. Lawes goes on doing this, brings disrepute to a beautiful game.

+Fernando Guibert that is bollocks, he is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, as a second rower you have to make yourself known on the pitch, yes a lot of his tackles are late, most of them go to TMO and are approved as being fine so that should shut you up for starters, rugby is massively phycological and by putting in tackles like he does has given him a reputation many scrum halves and fly halves fear when they play against him. he has unfortunately injured a few players with his tackles, but when Jonah Lomu used to walk through players and potentially injury them it isn't seen as being vicious, its seen as him being a monster of a player, in the same respect so in Lawes. don't comment if you are talking nonsense.
