Rugby players have the best sportsmanship imo. I play basket ball, a friend plays Rugby, We always disagree because He doesn't understand/tolerate cheap shots. Rugby is more violent than most sports but less sneaky and more respectful. Basket ball players don't hesitate to punch, elbow, put 2 fingers in the ass or hit your nuts to drive you mad. I guess it also happens in Rugby but less frequently.

Also, im pretty sure rugby players have to grab the player and tackle them, whereas in football, the players just knock each other down with random blind side hits using their shoulder

+Alistair Kaname Agreed. But i find rugby hits more admirable. In rugby most of your hits are straight up you versus the runner and may the best man win. In football there are a lot more opportunities for blindsided hits especially on receivers. I hate when safeties celebrate like they are the baddest dude on earth just because they hit a receiver in mid air who didn't know the hit was coming.
