That is my biggest gripe with Rugby 22, no Gallaghers Premiership. It just feels so blehhh without English Rugby LIcenses as thats where my heart lies(Sale Sharks). I love the card system and the achievements and stuff, I REALLY hope Big Ant keeps that and absolute stays away from the microtransaction bs that EA loves to emplore.

yes man 64-0 easy (i think thats what we put on them in preseason if i remember the score correctly) it would be a throttling. I guess its no different than using Stade against like Rouen or something like that. @@bigfoot45678

Here are some things that I loved about rugby 08: 1. Impact players (star players) 2. World league mode (Franchise mode) 3. Challenges (playing classic games from past world cups) 4. The rucks ( The ruck mini games suck in most rugby games)

Would be great if we get a bit of a trailer or something! Rugby games are so average the last 15 years! Hope Big Ant adds some value

Not wrong mate, really hope they release something soon to build a bit of hype leading up into the game.

After Rugby 22 only getting 2 updates post release, I decided I wouldn't buy another rugby game from them. I am glad it's not being built by Eko Software again, but I will wait to see the post game road map. Don't want to get burnt again.

Fair enough mate. I think we are in for better treatment with new developers. Big Ant released AFL 23 and it came out with a few bigs etc, however they have continuously been updating and working to improve the game. Hope they bring that over to Rugby 24.

They need to add rugby 7s!!

Don‘t care about modes or ultimate team, gameplay has to be the main focus…

While gameplay is important mate, it's also the replay-ability. The gameplay of Rugby 22 was a significant boost over Rugby 20 but the lack of modes never left me with the feeling of constantly coming back. Gameplay is the core though and it needs to be polished to benefit the game modes.

I know this sounds weird but I really hope they include the CPU v CPU option, I really enjoy being like a coach, picking the players, tactics etc then sending them out and seeing what transpires. the very first EA rugby game had that option, not sure if any of the recent incarnations had them

@@craigspillett4763 Hey mate, from what I can remember New Zealand, Australia, England , South Africa and Fiji are licensed mens teams. It also has a few licensed women and mens 7s teams. They have a licensed Super Rugby competition as well along with the Premiership. Do be aware that the rosters are old though, game came out late 2020.

Thanks for all your help mate but one last thing to ask, if you buy Rugby 24, can you let me know please if it has the CPU v CPU option? Im already purchasing RC4, so at least I have that to get into for now. Buzzing for the RWC btw, the most open one i can think of in a very long time. France, NZ, Ireland probably the main faves but SA, England, Scotland, Australia have outside sniffs if they can get their acts together

I really hope the MLR will be in the as well as Super Rugby. It would also be really cool if there was a nice soundtrack, with like 12 to 16 songs.

Not far away at all mate! Big Ant Studios seem to be adding an ultimate team mode to AFL 23 and Cricket 24 so fingers crossed it’s in Rugby 24 as well!! Big Ant also posted tweets of the face scanning AFL legends/icons so it’s very possible for Rugby 24! Cheers mate stay tuned for more updates on the game in coming weeks

Hoping for something better than the previous rugby games from them, weren't awful but weren't great either. Good thing this time Big Ant are involved this time and they have done some real quality games down the years, especially the rugby league games what I have really enjoyed and other games.

my favorite thing about Big Ant games (the two recent Cricket ones in particular) is the community hub and the ability to basically fix the teams and leagues and players and unis yourself. I can't tell you how many hours i've put into just the community, my OCD loves it; brings me great joy.

We need a higher difficulty its just too easy

was hoping we’d see some form of a player career mode similar to other sports games.

Yeah mate close to when the game was announced The Loadout did a QnA with the publisher and Rugby 7s is not included I believe.

From the newest news we have gotten it sounds like it will be the biggest rugby game ever, we might have a action packed games on our hands.

It feels like 16 years ago rugby 08 was pretty much just as good as this game if not better and this is PS5 etc? I'm not sure that I'm seeing anything great here for a game that's coming to current gen. Rugby 08 mechanics looked better, the tackles and flow of the game was great, the players running looked better, the kicking was fantastic, the kicking in this shows the ball moving too fast whereas 08 it was more realistically moving.

You do not want ultimate team, it is the worst thing thst ever happened to sports games. After that the developers were more focused on that than developing the game

Gameplay horrible avec des passes de 40m, des joueurs qui en traversent d'autres etc... Décidément les jeux de rugby sont à des années lumières de ceux de foot. C'est un manque de respect total pour les amateurs de rugby qui méritent un jeu de qualité avec un gameplay réaliste.
