I am a huge fan who discovered Rufus 2+ years ago. This is a wonderful concert. Thank you, Steve. I last saw him perform twice last month in Montreal and have two more concerts at the end of this month.

Perfection! I’ve seen every Rufus tour except for Songs for Lulu. I even saw him play in Montreal in 1996, before he had a record deal. He OPENED for Martha! Martha loves it when I tell her that. I’ve met and chatted with all the Wainwrights, many times. Love them all. ❤❤❤❤ Thank you so much for this beautiful video!!

Steve, thank you for sharing this Rufus' concert with us. Have you seen DVD Milwaukee at Last? Basically it is this concert with much, much more. Once one hears and sees Rufus in concert, one is addicted to him for life :-)

jelicajelica, yes, since seeing Rufus perform in concert, I have become more of a fan. It took me a year to get to my first concert. Now my goal (surpassed) is to see him 12 times each year.

Thanks for posting. Luckily, Rufus Wainwright is playing in a local theater on May 13th. Not being a day-by-day fan, I'm surprised to see he now has a completely different band from what you find on the great Fillmore dvd. Well, that's a much older show but I hope he still plays some of those songs. What's tehe date of this AVO session ?

Hi I recorded the concert from sky arts about 6 yrs ago I have to admit I had no idea who he was I had heard of his father, the first song came on and I thought no way so I turned it off it was repeated a few nights later and I heard the intro to rules and regulations and I thought hmmmm maybe I'm gonna give this a listen too I recorded it then watched it and man I was hooked even the Noel Coward song but I think my favourite is leaving for Paris 2 bass guitars cool .
