I saw Jake join Rufus on stage at Lincoln Center in February, 2020, when Ru's opening act called in sick. They did a couple of Everly Brothers songs together and we (the audience) were thrilled!

Jake totally ballsed up the timing of the spoken bit. At least Dawn French in London managed to understand where each line falls in relation to Rufus singing.

I was at this series of shows the night after Jake did the spoken part. The second night his boyfriend (who is German) did it in German. He said they couldn't find anyone cuter than Jake so he had to bring in his boyfriend (who is obviously cuter to him). I thought it was sweet
