@@marksink1652Very impressive for sure. Hadn’t watched it in ages, and though I had loved its flowing, gentle dreamlike quality before, I really didn’t notice a lot of detail until today when I watched very carefully after another comment regarding how good Dakota Fanning was. There is nothing I would change about this video.

Very Good Guy. Nothing's gonna change my world. Citizenship is in heaven. When you're ready to have a broken and contrite heart. As well as faith not in faith per se For Calvary's Mount is of inestemable amount. Hindoo sacred beliefs include if you've done well in this earthly sojourn. Your gonna return as something better. And or you go back into the ether. 'Dust In The Wind' The Holy Spirit is a person Christ The Messiah is the manifest human face of God The Father! Philip asked Him, "Show us the Father." Jesus replied, "If you've seen me then you've seen the Father!" Jesus Himself shall have the final Judgement for His 'once for all sacrifice' paid the ransom price to buy us back from Satanic authority. As Adam disobeyed what God said. But Jesus The Living and Enduring Word obeyed implicitly from the heart so we could be reconciled even though compared to Jesus mankind's bias to lawlessness makes them vile! Crucifixion Resurrection and His promise to return! For those eagerly awaiting for the rewards that they didn't earn. But learn to obey quickly as the good angel don't have to pray. But Jesus Christ did! Amen

And you can also say that there are very few covers that would ever have been made at all (none actually) if not for the original version (put that under "STATING the OBVIOUS" but it gets the point across --- the point being, that it's easier to add make-up to the essence of what lies beneath --- it is easy to make something prettier or more aesthetically pleasing. What is _not_ easy, is having the imagination or talent to come up with the original idea to begin with --- that is true art and creativity.

The truth is, Beatle songs are generally simple songs. In that respect, they are easy to cover, IF you understand the song. How the hell the Fab Four PLUS George Martin were able to deliver them in such a staggering variety, without ever grand-standing, is where much of the magic lies. To most of the world's musicians, they set the bar too high.

Wonderful video that deals with our tendency to distance ourselves from one another and ignore our inner child. The young girl wants to connect with the singer but he is suspended on a chair in a drab, expressionless otherworld, aloof from those around him and the presence of the girl. She spots a window on an upper floor and, hoping to get his attention, makes her way to a room containing several art pieces: one of Rufus singing and some colourful children’s sketches. From her perspective through the closed window, the chair is empty and the faceless men are gone, so the girl approaches the painting of Rufus singing. They smile at one another and like a portal to an inner consciousness the window instantly opens, revealing Rufus on the chair outside. She waves at him but gets no response, so she returns to the street, closes her eyes and makes a wish, letting the balloon slip from her fingers. The balloon drifts up and becomes many as Rufus descends from the mundane realm that held him. His eyes open as if awakened to the girl's presence and the message that she brings -- from love grows love, and the prospect of changing our world becomes possible when we are prepared to change ourselves.

Words are flowing out like Endless rain into a paper cup, They slither while they pass. They slip away across the universe. Pools of sorrow, Waves of joy Are drifting through my open mind. Possessing and caressing me. Jai guru deva om. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Images of broken light which Dance before me, like a million eyes That call me on and on across the universe. Thoughts meander like a Restless wind inside a letter box, They tumble blindly as They make their way across the universe. Jai guru deva om. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Sounds of laughter, Shades of earth Are ringing through my opened mind Inciting and inviting me. Limitless undying love, which Shines around me like a million suns And calls me on and on across the universe. Jai guru deva om. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. Nothing's gonna change my world. "Across the Universe" was written after Lennon's then wife, Cynthia, had bashed his ears one night (words flowing out). Later in the night he jotted down his thoughts as he was lying, irritated, in bed. The next day the words as we now know them came to him in a "boom moment", no longer a song about his irritation but an epiphanic affirmation of his emerging spirituality. The song is not a corollary of or a tribute to psychedelia; John was too much the sage and seer to allow a blend of airy words to stand as testament to his genius. His life choices during and after this period of his evolution corroborate the position that the song is an epistle of deep spiritual awareness from a man at the watershed moment of his life. Two images stand out for me: the paper cup and the letter box. Both are symbolic of the impermanence of life in this world. They are the only earthly objects in the lyric (all other references are abstract or metaphysical). To me, the paper cup represents memory (easily distorted and transitory), and the letter box symbolises the mind's sublunary confinement (cramped and narrow). Lennon is saying that our minds' greatest assets are squandered. We fill our heads with language (words raining into a paper cup) and waste our intellectual capabilities (wind inside a letter box). It's a call to abandon worldly pursuits and expand our spiritual horizons. "Nothing's gonna change my world" most likely means that he won't let his quest for transcendence be swayed by internal or external interference. The video is a commingled nod to both Rene Magritte's surrealist artwork and "The Red Balloon", a 1956 Oscar-winning short film by Albert Lamorisse which follows the adventures of a young Parisian boy who finds a red balloon. Lamorisse used his children in the film: his son, Pascal, playing himself, and his daughter, Sabine, portraying the little girl. Bosley Crowther said the film evoked "the ingenuousness of a child" while reminding us of "the poignant symbolization of dreams."
