Absolutely! There are many ways in which the Chinese have handled challenging situations admirably. I wish we could learn from their use of high-speed, public transportation, for example. It seems we have each taken an idea & run too far with it. We, in the U.S., are so independent that we have forgotten the welfare of the many. While the Chinese seemed so set on Communism, that they have trampled the individuals that make up that collective. We both lose out without balance.

Is it possible to get the translation of this video? As there is a lot of people who would like to understand what Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche says and put it into practice but they don’t speak English. Is there somebody who would like to translate it? Thank you so much to translate in other languages His Holiness teachings.

I wish that China could really learn from us here in the U.S. & not just copy our consumerist, materialist lifestyles. It must be very hard when you've lived such poverty & suddenly have plenty at your feet, but, please, look at our history. Look at the terrible & unenlightened way we treated the native peoples here. Look at how we enslaved those we pretended were so different. Look at how we have, & are still, destroying our natural resources. Look at the price we pay & choose carefully.

I wish the United States could learn from China how to live 400 million people out of poverty and into a middle class within the span of about 30 years. China took the approach of vigioursly attacking the problems of economic and societal material well-being first, albeit many people still live in impoverished conditions. China is now also focusing on the negative human rights and civil liberties issues holding the nation down. Chinese peoples' awakend social conscious have lead to that shift.
