@@MinscS2 come to think of it, other than when he is actually in an established relationship, when has he been the active side? With Eris he had that five-year promise and he considered it ironclad. Eris came on to him. Sara set the pace for the date and how the night was supposed to go. Rudeus' relationship in the uni was the result of Sylphie's own efforts. And now Roxy is the one pinging and flirting with her disciple.

@@TounushiRudeus was "active" both with Roxy and Eris when he was younger, examples being how he continously tried to sneak a peek at (and stole) Roxys panties and how he was touching Eris while she was sleeping, literally went away to J.O after seeing her semi-nude chest while she was seasick, etc. Sara is the only real exception as he was deeply depressed and couldn't care less about sex at the time.

About how Roxy survived, I expected them to explain it this episode but I guess they won't. Is basically as you said, she killed monsters and eat them. Then used detoxify magic on herself to prevent being poisoned.

There's a fun little easter egg in the sword stall scene when Rudeus is testing out the gladius. The background plate artist snuck in a couple of familiar blades. Rudeus just doesn't notice the parallels between his shopping trip with his teacher and his date with Sara. The anime has brought the "loss of morale" angle into better focus than the LN did. Paul was talking about Roxy having her heart broken the moment she heard Rudeus is married. Reading the chapter I'd already pictured him wanting to tell Rudeus to be careful in handling romance with two or more women, since the boy is just so damn oblivious. The sword speech is an anime-only addition and it's pretty much the message I expected him to give his son. Considering it takes a day to get to the labyrinth from the city, Rudeus and Roxy must've spent about two weeks together already. And she's pinging and flirting with him all the time, while he's just enjoying the attention his master is giving him like a puppy. He's oblivious while she thinks he's receptive to her advances.

I am not mad if Rudy will get down with Roxy he's all time crush. Well Hitogami said Rudy should not go to Begarith and just stay with Sylphy and have a relationship with one of the beast chicks. I’m guessing Rudy is actually gonna end up with 3 or four swords. The Man god certainly wanted Rudy to get a second sword. By the way, what I’m about to say is just a theory, not a spoiler, so dont worry. I’m guessing that Eris got pregnant when she and Rudy got together, and he has had a child this whole time. I just feel like they developed her too much for her not to get either him. And she still loves him. Although, this story is surprisingly realistic when it comes to emotions, so maybe he won’t get with her.
