They didn't show just how shook Badigadi was when he learned that Rudeus fought and managed to damage Orsted. Him being alive was a big enough feat for someone who is mortal and to damage Orsted on top of that is an incredible feat

@@Niffunn My brother in Christ,Rudeus is 15/16. He has most definitely gone through puberty as that usually ranges 9-15. Sylphie is the only argument that can be made as she is 1/4 elvish. At 74 she looks 40. Otherwise he definitely did go through it

Lel what Rudeus didn't really realize was that his "one handed, un-armed, panicking" little fire bolt would have obliterated the mountain killing Eris and Ruijerd in the process. Orsted was the one who really did them all the favor by opening the wyrmgate to absorb the attack.

The funny thing is that Fire Magic is inherently more destructive than the other elements, meaning that while the Stone Cannon Rudeus used was certainly impressive and capable of harming Orsted, it is far more worthy of note that Orsted chose to actually counter his Fireball. It's like the difference between seeing someone throw a rock at you and blocking it with your arm and seeing someone throw C4 at you and choosing to throw a Tower Shield at them so that shit doesn't get any where near you.

​​@@Vivi24283 Nah, you are definitely right about that, the voice given to Rudy is honestly kinda horrible, now if this was the Demon Continent Saga, the voice would match but, this is a good amount of years later, his voice should be older sounding and shouldn't be this light, it should be more manly cause obviously he hit puberty and should have a deeper voice by this point, I'm honestly really disappointed cause everything in the dub seems well put together except for Rudy

Love how he's so happy even after getting ripped apart. Scary to imagine what Rudeus could do if he cut down the cast time for that spell.

Only thing I can’t get behind is the voice choice for Rudeus. Japanese one fits perfectly. Edit: Yes, the other problem I have with this show is the WEIRD level of ecchi with essentially children (among other stuff). Isekai anime does NOT always need romance/harem and it NEVER needs it with kids.

You clearly know nothing of human male development if you think by 15-16; which is late to the end stages of puberty boy still sound high pitched 40 yr cat lady, you're delusional. voice cracking octave for males happens around 12-13 so by 15 the deepen pitch would be set and finalize between 17-18. Rudeus is ridiculously strong but he never won against 7 great powers without a lot of help. Gallan Fallon was the weakest as he lost his confidence after losing to Juno and even then Iris only won because of Ruijerd (sorry it's been a long time so I forgot the proper names 😉) With MK0 Rudeus might be able to beat lower ranked world powers.

It's amazing that they can actually prove, time and time again, that Sub is a million times better than Dub...

Because it is a girl voice acting rudeus it’s very common for children and even sometimes adults to be voiced by women even if they’re a man in animes which idk why they still have her voicing him since he’s like 16 now which is stupid but this seems to be only really happening with English dubs btw Madeleine Morris is the one who voice acts him
