Hello space noob, if you raise your pedals on a box, it will give you more control. Every aircraft I’ve flown has the pedals located so that my legs are pushing forward aft. A desk chair is too high when the rudder pedals are on the floor. Some gamers lower the desk and chair, some raise the pedals. Either way gives better control. The only drawback is you’ll have to find a way to lock your desk chair in position. The Roger Doger web page has some great diy solutions for this. Happy gaming.
