Ruby's Story of Inclusion: The Middle School Years

Ойын-сауық

"Inclusion ins't something you learn in a book or lesson plan...it must be lived each and every day."
We weren't sure what to expect for Ruby in middle school. What we truly wanted most for her was to find friendships and community, feel seen and heard, and feel like she BELONGED. Just as she is.
The reality is that inclusion looks different for everyone, but for every single person on the planet the importance of it remains. Spend a day at middle school with Ruby and see just why it's so important for us ALL. ❤️

I found this video through watching Ruby's journey in elementary school. I was assigned that video for a class and I immediately thought "I wonder how she is doing" and then this comes up! This is such a wonderful story, organization, and clearly community. Thank you for sharing Ruby's story and demonstrating that inclusion is a right, and to just go for it! Amazing video.
