Her voice doesn’t need production or gimmicks. Just give her a great song and she’ll know what to do with it. Wow. I’d love to hear her sing Patsy Cline.

It's an age tradition with this song- Leann Rimes was 13 when she had a hit with it!

Her yodel flips so precise it sounds like she’s flipping an actual switch. Amazing truly there is no one more technically talented this season by quite far AND she’s got emotion and passion too

I wonder if most people know how difficult it is to yodel...and to yodel in tune. She is a force!

If you can sing Blue at this level, you are a STAR. At 16? Blown away...

Even when she's not really trying her voice just yodels on its own. She tapped the emotion pretty good and nailed the low notes respectably. This is hers to lose. - So You Wanna Be A Singer

Yeah, I agree that that was heretofore, untapped---and, I also agree that it was really coo!!! Also, during rehearsals, Reba wanted her to sing, lower, and she did, and it sounded great!! It was funny cuz Wynonna was telling her, one thing, and Reba said that she wanted to hear it, another way (that's when she said, to sing, lower), and Ruby sang it, like Reba said, and Reba hollered, with approval, and Wynonna was like "You just think you're so smart, don'tcha", or something like that, and then they laughed!!! It was too cute, for words!!! 😂

Ruby is a special talent.. the maturity in her voice.. makes her sound like a grown up woman .. yet she has the same young girl innocence Leanne had when she did it .. this was Beautifully entertaining and masterfully done.❤💯

I am a big R&B fan, but also have quite a collection of old school country in my record collection. I recall in the early '80s before anyone knew who she was, I started playing Patsy Cline when I was having a dinner party. All of my friends, none of whom are country music fans, all stopped talking and asked "Who is that?" When you are super talented, genre doesn't matter. Very few new artists around now who can just sing a song without vocal acrobatics, background dancers and/or skimpy outfits to compensate for lack of talent. You all know who I'm talking about. Ruby brings her talent to a whole new level. Just look at the reactions of Nial, John and Gwen in this video. You can tell they are just so, so enjoying this concert. Even though she didn't win, I predict Ruby will be the first big star to come out of the Voice. I can't wait for her concert in my city.

I am not a big country fan but I must say she was phenomenal. I loved the song choice.

Wow. Her voice is so precise. This song can be sung kind of gimmick-y because of the yodels, but she really tapped into the melancholy emotion of the song and let that guide the yodels in the choruses. Really magical.

Classic, brilliantly done! Kickback to the old country music style! ❤ Not many know this…even though Blue was sort of slated for Patsy Cline to record, she passed away before recording it. Blue was released by several artists over the years but LeAnn Rimes recorded it in 1996 and is the only artist to win awards (including a Grammy) for her version.

I always eagerly await Ruby's performance---she did wonderfully. I must also comment on how she looked, physically, because she looked so fabulous. Her dress was just too cute, for words, and looked really good on her---all short, and everything!! Her nails looked, super pretty---you could tell she was lovin' bein' a girl, tonight; bein' all fancied-up!!! Also, she seemed to have hair extensions---I like her hair, that length. Her make-up/face was super pretty---and, last, but not least, her confidence is growing, by leaps and bounds, and that just makes me burst, with happiness, for her!!! ❤️❤❤ Edit: I forgot to say about Reba telling her to sing lower, and SHE DID IT, and it sounded, SO GOOD!!!
