the pyraminx scramble is terrible because the yellow side was practically complete except for 2 pieces and he solved it in like 5 moves

All this effort and nary a likely Nobel Laureate in sight. Seems a shame as these folks are obviously quite intelligent. Maybe if they focused on something a bit less ephemeral?
